Sonic The Hedgehog: Roboticized

On Angel Island, deep within the lush green forest, Knuckles The Echidna, guardian of the Master Emerald, was taking a nice long rest. He never really got to explore that often since he was always busy protecting the Emerald incase someone came to steal it. Protecting it was his ancestors sacred duty, and now, protecting the Emerald is his responsibility. Knuckles lay down on the ground with his back against the wall. Next to him, some of the animals that inhabited the island were playing together. Knuckles watched them and smiled.

"Gee, it sure is a nice day today" Knuckles thought to himself. "Nice break from sitting at the Alter of The Emerald all day long." Knuckles yawned, he was getting rather tired. "Guess it wouldnt hurt to take a quick nap" he thought to himself. He closed his eyes and began to doze off. Suddenly, a giant shadow apeared over the island and Knuckles was awoken by the sound of the Flying Battery. The little animals who were playing a mere moment ago ran away in fear. "What the heck is that thing!?" Knuckles exclamed. Suddenly, Knuckles noticed egg-shaped robots begining to fly out of the ship, and a group of them were heading in his direction. Within seconds, Knuckles was surrounded by six Egg-Robos, each armed with a lazer gun. Knuckles cracked his knuckles and got ready. "So, you wanna challenge me huh? Hah! Your funeral." He said. Just as he finished speaking, one of the robots fired its gun. Knuckles jumped up dodging the lazer, and it instead took out one of the robots behined him. He landed in front of the one who fired the lazer and with one mighty punch, it was destroyed. "Threat detected" said one of the robots. "Termination commencing." Knuckles grabed a leg that had broken off of the robot and threw it with all his might. It hit another one of the robots and got stuck in its face. The robot collapsed to the ground with a clang. Another robot tried shooting Knuckles with its lazer gun. Knuckles dodged to the side and charged at the robot. He leaped into the air and slamed down on the robots head destroying it instantly. Then, Knuckles turned around to see the fifth robot charging in his direction. Knuckles waited for the right time and when the robot got close enough, he jumped up. The robot flew right under him and smashed into the wall. Knuckles landed and looked up to see the final robot was retreating. But Knuckles wasnt letting it get away that easilly. He grabbed the broken off robot arm and threw it into the air. The arm hit the robot's thrusters destroying them. The robot then fell back down to the ground, and with a loud clang and crunch, it was destroyed. Knuckles pumped his fist in the air. "Another glorious victory for me!" He exclamed in delight. "I gotta get back to the Altar in case those guys come for the Emerald." Knuckles turned to head back to the Altar, when he heard a strange sound. It sounded like the robots thrusters, but it was way faster, and sort of sounded like it was getting closer. Before he even had time to finish turning around, Knuckles was punched right in the chest. He was sent flying back into a wall. Once he opened his eyes, he saw another robot, But this one looked different. It was dark blue, had a singular orange eye and sort of resembled a hedgehog. The robot began to fly upwards. "Surrender now Echidna! You are no match for Dr. Eggman's army." Said Mecha Sonic. Knuckles laughed and raised his fists. "Knuckles never runs away from a fight!" He retorted.

"The odds of you surviving is 0.1%." Said Mecha Sonic. Knuckles grinned, "Ill take those odds." He replied. Knuckles was confident that he would win this, however, Mecha Sonic began charging up power. Electricity surged through its body and it blinked a bright blue all over. Knuckles became a little worried, "Maybe this wasnt the best idea." He thought. He looked around to see if there was anything that could help, and then he saw a rock laying next to one of the Egg-Robos he destroyed. Without hesitation, Knuckles grabbed the rock and threw it at Mecha Sonic hitting it right in the face. Mecha Sonic fell to the ground with a clang, his eye was cracked and some of the blue paint on his face was scratched off. Knuckles laughed, "Looks like your calculations were wrong!" He said triumphantly. His celebration was cut short however as he saw more robots heading his way. Knuckles knew he couldnt fight forever, so he decided to play it safe and decided to run back to the Altar.

Eventually he lost the robots, so he decided to take a break. He was very tired after all of that. Thats when he heard the sound of voices. They were voices he didnt recognise. They sounded close by so he decided to investigate. Thats when he saw three stangers. A flying squirral, an armadillo and a two-tailed fox.
