chapter 2 - first sights

"How are you going to repay Denis?" I get the whipped cream and pour some chocolate syrup on my breakfast before taking a bite and raising an eyebrow at Royal,

"I don't know, maybe take her to the mall or to the movies. Something that isn't inappropriate." Royal directs her focus to Kai as he puts his hands up.

"You could pay her," Aston finally speaks up in the conversation while texting and scrolling through her phone.

"No thanks."

"You're lost." Aston takes a bite of her breakfast and taps my arm, "Look," Aston turns her phone for me to see a shirtless, kinda muscular boy with the softest lightest skin I've ever seen. He has black straight hair stopping at his ears with it with a split in the middle and his grey eyes are piercing and scary as hell.

"He's a new junior going to our school and he looks hot as fuck,"

"Aston, watch your mouth."

"Sorry," Aston's phone is taken away by Kaiden, who gasps and covers his mouth.

"Where did you find him?"

"Rai said her brother became friends with him," Aston takes another bite of her food before talking, "His name is Felix, he's 17 apparently, and he plays football."

"Aston, don't talk with your mouth full."

"Damn, I won't speak then." Aston takes her phone and puts it on the table as Denis rolls her eyes and grabs her stuff to leave.

"I bet he isn't that cute anyway," Denis blows a kiss to all of us, "Be good, I'll try my best to come in early."

"Goodbye,"

"Have fun,"

After Denis left, me, Aston, and Kai all finish our breakfast and decided to walk to school. And we made it by 7:45, with me quickly going to my locker to put my skateboard away and seeing the group at our usual spot outside near the basketball court.

"Buenos días, my two pretty girls."

"Fuck me then, right?"

"Kaiden, we all know you're just a little bit on the ugly side." Maxi rolls her eyes as Kai flips her off.

"I just know you should not be talking."

"I am though," Maxi swears under her breath and rolls her eyes while a very unexpected but expected guest comes up to our table, which is Maxi's little "sneaky link". Which, I really don't understand because everyone knows they sleep together.

"Someone looks happy to see me,"

"What do you want, Rocco?" Maxi looks at Rocco in distress as he scoffs,

"I need to talk to you," Rocco looks at the rest of us before looking back at Maxine, "Privately."

"Privately?"

"Okay, if you're gonna disrespect us like that, I suggest you leave and talk to Maxi when she's actually alone." April looks at Rocco looking at her and rolling his eyes,

"I can't have her for at least 5 minutes?"

"No, you cannot."

"It's fine, April. Just give us 5 minutes, okay?"

"We're coming back when the 5 minutes are up," Me, Kai, and April get up and walk inside to our lockers, but not before glaring daggers into Rocco.
