Dad drove me to the so called apartment which was at a familiar building. Actually this is the building where Lin also has his apartment on which means I'm now neighbors with him.

What a life I have

"dad this is so huge" I gasp when I look arround the house "well, it's yours now" he shrugs "papá I can't leave here alone. It's really huge for a single person" I shake my head.

"oh dad, can I move in with my bestie?" I asked "it's yours, you know what you do with it" he said scrolling down on his phone "oh my goodness Carly is going to go bananas when she finds out" I giggle "lucky you to find it already furnitured. The owner said it's ok to use them as long they are paid for" he said.

"so I'm paying for them?" I asked "nah, I cleared for them and I'll also be paying the rent that's all" he said "oh my goodness that's even more than enough dad thanks" I smile "sure thing dumpling" he said pinching my cheek.

I'm more than happy, I don't get to pay rent all I do is just come back home and sleep in. God what did I do to deserve this man?

"you like it?" he asked "I love it, so much dad this is amazing" I twirl with a wide smile and dad chuckles "glad you love it" he said "I love you more dad" I said "I love you so much princess" he said and pulled me into a hug.

"and also I had to reward you for those grades" he wiggles his brows "urgh stop dad your the best" I chuckle and rest my head back onto his chest.

"so any more words, I'm flying back" he said "I want to have more words right now but I'm typically speechless" I shake my head "don't forget to call me when you need something OK?" he asked "deal" I nod.

"ok, I better get my ride to the airport now" he said "wait when did you get here?" I asked him "Tuesday, I just wanted to enjoy the Malibu and relax" he said "oh" I nod "so you're good right?" he asked for confirmation "I'm best" I give him a thumbs up.

"ok girl, I gotta go" I points at his watch and I nod "let me walk you out" I said and hook my hand into his "that's my little dumpling" he chuckles as we exit the house.

My dad is a very busy man but he always makes time to spend with his family and I appreciate him for that. Long live my papa.

I walked him outside and he grabbed his drive to the air port. I waved towards his direction Untill I couldn't see the car anymore just like the way I used to when I was a kid. Maybe some things never change.

"whatcha doing?" a voice from beind me said and I jump at the sudden action placing a hand on top of my chest where the heart is believed to be. I turn arround to lay my eyes on Lin with his hands up "Jesus christ you scared me" I said slapping his chest. "oh sorry" he chuckles.

"so you left me in bed to come out and wave to the air?" he asked with a perfectly arched brow. "no, I didn't want to wake you up and that was my dad I was waving to" I sigh.

All the man does is laugh. He laughed so hard that I found my self joining him "what?" I asked him afterwards "so where is he?" he asked pointing at the air. I rolled my eyes "oh please, he just left" I Huff "really? Why didn't you introduce me to him?" he asked wrapping his arms arround his chest.

"um it was urgent" I said and he laughs once again "wait do you think I'm a psycho? The man just bought me an apartment on this building" I throw my hands in the air "oh really?" he said walking closer to me.

"you jerck" I pushed him when he laughs again "I'm not making things up, my dad was just here" I pinch him "okay fine I believe you" he winces in pain.

"good now are you going to come see my apartment?" I asked him "sure" he smirks and I roll my eyes.
