Lilith found herself following the tiny beam of light as she had no other option. She was hopeless and had no better ideas. She paused abruptly as the light she has been following for thirty minutes had vanished into thin air right in front of her. In that moment all her hope had crumbled into nothing more than dust.
As she frantically spun in circles trying the find the source of light again she began to notice her surroundings. The big, bright moon looking down at her , she found herself in the middle of a large opening in the vast forest. The trees swaying as the breeze passed through them. Lilith stared at the trees pleading for an explanation as to what kind of sick nd twisted dream she was having. But alas no answer...
The cold thin air did not affect her as much as she expected it to, come to think of it she felt different but she couldn't identify why. Sitting down at the bottom of a huge tree she let tonight's event daunt over her, hold her hostage as the more she thought about them the more creepy and uneasy she felt. Whilst pondering what to do next she sat and stared at the trees. The looked so welcoming... so friendly and loving...
Their big sticks waving at her as if they were trying to pull her into an embrace. Slowly she moved forward allowing for shrubs, tree and bushes to keep her safe and provide her with shelter, in that moment she felt as though she was in the arms of a long lost lover, someone holding her safe and sound, protecting her from all of the world's uglies and terrors. As the fatigue washed over her she finally let herself go, she let her stress filled tears slip past her beautiful eyes.
Her shimmering eyes. The eyes that not even the most noble or godly could deny. She layed there emotionless as the salty drops ran down her perfect face...
For hours she layed there staring up into the sky gazing at the stars that flew above her head. She let the exhaustion steal her away as she saw the moon beginning to hide behind the long and distant horizon...
Surrounded by darkness she quickly sat up looking around, fog had engulfed the nature around her. She sat for a moment before deciding to get up. Terrified, she tried to get a feel of her surroundings however it was no use as all she would see what fog upon fog upon fog, she just had to pray and hope that she didn't trip or fall over something.
As she walked she felt uneasy, the feeling you get when you know something or someone is out there lurking and observing from a far... "I hate this, I don't like this, I'm literally freaking out rights now" Lilith spoke, as if to comfort herself in the current situation.
She heard rustling. She froze. She didn't dare to move or breath. Waiting for whatever it is to leave. It did not leave it lingered and waited. Then into her view pounced a little white rabbit. "Phew, I thought you were gonna eat me" Lilith exhaled as a wave of relief drowned her. However as she stood there and stared into the empty eyes if the rabbit she heard another crack coming from the nearby bush. She panicked and broke into a sprint. She's never ran this fast she didn't even think it was humanly possible, but alas she ran and she took a peek at what followed. She couldn't see what it was through the thick fog but as it got closer its silhouette grew larger and larger.
With fear in her eyes and trembling feet she decided to face whatever was coming after her. The beast infront of her stared at her with a look that she has never seen before from any other being. Bloodlust. The towering beast looked as if it was ready to tear her apart and move on without a second thought...
Lilith stared but she didn't feel scared anymore, she felt a rush of strength that has taken over her. She felt a hunger for the beast's death. To watch its life slip away as the begged her for mercy...Lilith stood there in shock at her own thoughts, though she didn't know it, she was one of the purest of souls and she would have never even considered the murder of another even if they had deserved it.
However she soon realised she didn't have the time to sit there and contemplate her thoughts, all she had on her mind right now was to kill or be killed...
