TITANUS GOJIRA HAS BEEN DORMANT FOR NEARLY THREE YEARS, WITH NO SIGNS OF GETTING UP ANYTIME SOON. NO KAIJU ATTACKS OR RAMPAGES HAVE HAPPENED SINCE HE STARTED THIS SLUMBER. ONLY CERTAIN MONARCH OFFICIALS KNOW HIS EXAXT LOCATION. TITANUS MOSURA HAS MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED FROM HER HOLLOW EARTH HOME AND MONARCH IS STILL DESPERATELY SEARCHING FOR HER. IT SEEMS MOSURA'S ABSENCE HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH GOJIRA GOING DORMANT. MONARCH REFUSES TO BE CONTACTED WITH ANY QUESTIONS AT THIS TIME.

I stared at the spikes on my arms. They were new. Only a few years had gone by since my evolution into this powerful but different form. The spikes had hardened into blades and had turned an almost white color, as has the rest of the ones across my body. I held them a little closer to my face, studying them. How could I use these new weapons? Would they even be useful? I wondered if-

"Godzilla?"

I snapped my head back up. Morehu looked at me quizzically, almost concerned. I understood why. I'd been extremely distracted since I'd woken up. Morehu hadn't changed. Suko, the young Kong on his shoulders, hadn't changed at all. Gia, the telepathic human who stood in his hand, hadn't changed either. Why then, after 200 million years, did I suddenly look different? If I had known becoming more powerful would alter my thoughts and appearance this much. . .

"What is it?" I asked, trying to silence my mind.

"Gia is concerned."

I blinked at the human. "Concerned? How?"

"About you. She knows your thoughts and was wondering if there is a reason she senses such. . . sadness from you?"

I narrowed my eyes and snorted. "You need not worry about my mind. You all know where you belong. . . And you are very fortunate I have not gotten angry because you are not at your post, Kong." I sneered in his face.

"I understand." He gently placed the human down on the metal roof of the building below us. He made a quick gesture to her before whispering something to Suko and walking off. He looked back at me a few times. . . Almost worried. . .?

I grunted and slipped back into the ocean. My whole body ached. Nothing had even happened. I just wanted to sleep again but Morehu, Behemoth, and Methuselah were correct in advising me to take some time to recover and better understand the new abilities my evolution could have granted me. Which meant patrolling the waters again and no more sleeping.

I breathed a huge sigh of bubbles and quickly surfaced. I sat in the shallow water for a moment, just staring at the wonderful thing in front of me.

Mosura's cocoon was still closed and secured on its cliff. The mass pulsed with light and moved slightly. She was alive in there. . . Waiting.

I pulled myself up on the shore and flopped in front of the silk web. I nuzzled my nose against it gently, my whole body tingling as I did.

"9,997 years until I see you again. . . My queen." I whispered before groaning loudly and moving my head away from the silk.

"Sire?"

I looked up sharply, squinting into the sun angrily. "Dagu?"

The gojira-like lizard crept down the cliff, carefully avoiding the glow of the silk. "Yes it is me."
