The fire had subsided, leaving nothing but smoky ash. I watched as Hajime tried to enter but was blocked by Monokuma. The bear had told us that we couldn't enter because of the gases still lingering. I scoffed at his statement.

Of course we couldn't enter... The warehouse is filled with poison gas!

I sat at the floor, observing the slightly cracked concrete beneath me. I can't imagine going through Nagito's death for a second time. I already felt sick just thinking about it.

After what felt like hours, Monokuma finally let us enter the dreaded place. I felt everyone hesitate as they turned to me.

"What are you guys staring at?" I asked only to be dismissed as they shook their heads and rushed inside. Everyone began to observe the ruined warehouse. Countless of Monokuma cardboard cutouts laid on the ground in a trail, which led to an ominous black curtain.

I felt the bile rushing up my throat. Nagito was in there.

I watched from the entrance as Hajime stepped forward and pushed open the curtains. I couldn't handle it anymore and felt myself vomit.

"Y/n!" Akane gasped and rushed to my aid. She pat my back as everything I consumed prior to this moment left my body.

"N-Nagito..." I gasped between breaths. I felt tears stream down my cheeks, my heart was aching. I couldn't stand being inside the warehouse anymore.

"W-Why don't we go outside for a bit, yea? I-I'll tell Hajime and the others..." Akane looked at Hajime who was already looking at us. As if knowing what it was already about, Hajime nodded, causing Akane to whisk me away to the cabins.

"B-But Akane..." I tried to protest as she carried me on her shoulders.

"No buts! We won't let you get sick on us!" Akane said firmly as she quietly jogged to the first island, with me on her back.

Akane laid me down on my cabin bed. I tried to sit up but her grip was too firm, "Stay here, okay?" She spoke, concern laced in her voice.

"But what about you? Shouldn't you investigate with the others?" I looked at the gymnast, "Seriously, I'm fine.  I wouldn't want to be a burden, Akane."

"It's okay, Y/n! I used to take care of my siblings back home!" She let out a carefree smile, "Taking care of you will be easy-peasy!"

She's too persistent... I have to make her go so that I can alter the evidence...

I was deep in thought when she suddenly spoke again, "But if you really are sure... Then I guess I could leave you be..."

Bingo.
