JULES POV

"You're telling me that nothing happened other than sleeping," Faye tournaments me as we walk towards her car.

I made it the whole school day without them suspecting anything but I knew as soon as I asked about the party, they'd ask me where I went that night.

"Yup, only sleeping," I lie to both of their faces once I spot Kiara inching closer to us.

"Only sleeping where?" Kiara questions, now invested.

"At Luke's house," Faye states before I can. I watch as Kiara's mouth falls and she lets out a squeal.

"No way!!" Kiara shouts.

"Keep your voices down-,"

"Why? Because you don't want people knowing you slept with Lu-,"

I clasp my hand over her mouth before she can finish her sentence. There were people walking by and I'd rather not have my business be known by the whole school.

I give a small wave to people passing us and then whisper to both of them. "If you want to know what happened, get in the car," I instruct.

They both nod and quickly fly into the car as I take my designated spot in the backseat. It only takes a moment of silence before they're back to overbearing me with curiosity.

"So he was the one who took you home," Faye announces, piecing everything together.

I nod and watch as smiles light up their faces.

"You have to tell us everything now!" Kiara adds.

I playfully roll my eyes and think of where to start the story.

"Well, after I lost you guys at the party I was over it and wanted to go home. I knew Lukas never misses a party so I went to search for him. When I found him, it didn't take much convincing him to take me home," I pause for their input.

"Lukas would do anything for you Jules," Kiara states. I look over at Faye but her expression agrees with Kiara.

"Anyways, we were about to turn onto my street but I didn't want my mom to know I wasn't staying at your house so I told him to take me to his place," I continue.

"OoO," Faye adds as if we were children.

"Shut it," I mumble. "When we got there I told him I'll just sleep in his car but he wouldn't let me and took me up to his room," I explain.

"Then what happened in his room?" Kiara questions with a big smile.

"We started talking and joking around. He asked about Rowan and where I want to go to college.. he said he was glad this party wasn't like the last one because we'd most likely have to play seven minutes in heaven again," I finish with a laugh.

"Except y'all would've actually kissed this time," Faye claims with a cheeky smile.

"No we wouldn't!" I quickly claim.

Yes we would've..

"Enough of that, what happened next!" Kiara shouts.

"I don't really remember what was said..." I remember every word "...but one thing led to another and we kissed," I finally blurt out.

Kiara and Faye mouth's drop in unison.

"You owe me twenty dollars," Kiara speaks to Faye.

"You made a bet on me?!" I question, wanting to know what the bet was.

"I bet that y'all would kiss before the end of the school year but Faye bet that it wouldn't happen because you're too stubborn but I won!" Kiara explains.

Little do they know, Kiara could've had her twenty dollars back in December..

"How dare y'all!" I joke with a small laugh.

"What? I got my money didn't I?" Kiara lets up with a smirk.

I roll my eyes as Faye passes Kiara the green slip of paper.

"So all you guys did was kiss?" Faye finally asks.

"Yes,"

I watch as Faye and Kiara share a look and then glance back at me.

"I would tell you guys if anything else happened!" I lie through my teeth.

"Yeah ok," Faye breaks.

"What does this mean for you two?" Kiara questions leaving me to think.

"What do you mean you two?" I question back.

"For you and Lukas. Are y'all dating now or what?" she openly asks which takes me aback.

"Uh no, I told him we need to keep it professional until the competition's over," I explain.

"You're a dumb bitch," Faye mutters loudly.

"What?" I speak back.

"You two clearly like each other, you're just hurting the both of y'all by making each other wait," she explains seriously.

"We do not like each other, it was just a one time thing!"

I hope it's not just a one time thing. That boy really knows how to..

"Keep telling yourself that," she lets up with a smirk.
