Donnie, Isaac, and Macy see the future newspaper.
"Fast-Dash Missing. Vanishes in Chaos."
Isaac said as he walked to read the newspaper.
"Our city's Scarlet Quickster and the Reverse-Dash sped into some kind of a portal while having an epic fight." Said Donnie
"Look at the date."
Macy said as she pointed at the newspaper.
Donnie sees the date.
"April 19, 2035." Said Donnie
He realized something.
"The Reverse-Dash said that me and him would be fighting for centuries."
Said Donnie
"This article is from the future."
Said Isaac
"Yes. That means that the Reverse-Dash or whatever his real name is, also from the future." Donnie said as he turned his focus back on the newspaper.
Isaac is looking at Donnie's future suit. He admires it.
"I'm not a costume designer, but I like how the brighter red looks. And the white symbol has pure awesomeness written all over it. Hold on. Suppose now you change the shade of red on your suit. Is it because of this picture? That would mean that we are in a causal nexus. This is trippy."
Said Isaac
"But not as trippy as the one at the bottom." Said Macy
Donnie sees what Macy is talking about.
He is stunned by this.
Donnie sees the bottom part of the article.
"Commander Lauren Morris marries long time fiancé, Donnie Callan."
Said Donnie
"This has to be a hallucination."
Said Isaac
"No, it is not." Said Seth
The three get spooked.
"What the hell was that?"
Asked Isaac
Seth popped up.
"It is 100% real. Hello, Donnie Callan."
Said Seth
"You know who I am?"
Donnie asked with confusion.
"Yes. Donnie Callan, director of Gladiator Corps, Science and Technology division."
Said Seth
"Director of Gladiator Corps?"
Asked Donnie
"Guess you get a promotion."
Said Isaac
"Son of Jared Callan AKA Sonic Man and Kathy Willis. Twin brother of Jordan Callan AKA Speedrush. Also known as Fast-Dash."
Said Seth
"Who are you?" Asked Donnie
"I am Seth. An artificial intelligence."
Said Seth
"Sweet." Isaac said with a smile.
"Do you know who the Reverse-Dash?"
Asked Donnie
"Of course." Said Seth
"Do you know why he's here? In this time?" Asked Donnie
"To kill you." Said Seth
Isaac's device beeps. He pulled it out.
"He's on his way." Said Isaac
"How do you know that?"
Asked Macy
"I had the T.E.A.R. Labs retasked to track tachyons. Donnie, whatever questions you have, ask them now." Said Isaac
"Seth, why did he send Kyle, Quentin, everyone after me?" Asked Donnie
"He wanted you to be fast enough."
