DD puts his phone down.

He and Ddot were in his room just hanging out. They were both lying down on his bed. Ddot's head was on DD's arm that was also wrapped around his shoulder. Their bodies were close together. They were staring up at the ceiling chatting. 

"I wish Notti was more like you." Ddot says.

"How?"

"Like you're chill with me, but Notti isn't. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't love me.  Like he is just dating me because we were dating before. I feel like you like being with me because you actually like me for me."

"I do. I love everything about you."

Ddot turns to him. "You do?"

DD turns to Ddot. "I love your smile, your hair, your skin, your personality, your giggle, your laugh...everything. I love everything about you." 

Their faces move closer together until they kiss. When they pull away, Ddot rests his head on DD's chest. "Notti doesn't need to know about this."

"I won't tell."

The door to the room creaks open.

They turn to see Notti in the doorway.

"DARRIAN! What the-" 

"Baby, no, it's not what you think!" Ddot says quickly getting off of DD.

Notti rushes to his room in tears, followed by Ddot. 

"Leave me alone!" Notti shouts at him, tears streaming down his face.

"No, baby-"

"Don't call me that!"

"It's not what you think."

"Notti doesn't need to know about this." Notti quotes Ddot, hinting that he heard him.

Ddot's eyes widen. 

"I'm so dumb. It was so obvious. The stolen glances, the secretive smiles." Something clicks in Notti's head. "That's why you became distant. That's why you started to ignore me and my texts. I should've known, once a cheater, always a cheater."

"What? What do you mean?" Ddot asks confused.

"You know what I'm talking about."

"I don't."

"Don't try to gaslight me!" Notti shouts as the tears slow due to his mood changing to angry.

"I'm not. I'm just confused." 

"You cheated on me with DD before! This was the second time." Notti tells him.

"What are you talking about? I never did." Ddot asks genuinely confused.

"Yes, you did. That's why I broke up with you."

"I never did."

"I have evidence. I have the photos."

"What photos?"

"The party. You remember the party?" Notti asks pulling out his phone.

Ddot thinks for a second. "I do."

Notti shows him a photo of him holding hands with DD. "See this?"

He shows him another photo of DD taking him to a room. "I didn't wanna believe it at first, but then you started to defend DD and take his side. But what really convinced me was the day at the sink. DD held you by your waist and you called him BABY. Then you guys came to MY room and started flirting."

"No, it's not how it seems. At the party I got nervous and I was looking for you, but then DD came to help calm me down. He took me to a room to talk, he was tryna get back together, but I obviously refused. And I didn't take DD's side, I genuinely didn't want you guys fighting. The sink thing was an accident. I thought it was you, that's why I called him baby. But then I threw the water at him and ran to your room. Then he came back and offered me water and I was really thirsty, so I took it. We weren't flirting." Ddot thinks for a second. "I wasn't flirting." Ddot explains.

"You didn't cheat on me?" Notti asks feeling relieved.

"No, I would never." Ddot says moving closer to Notti.

"Then what were you doing in DD's room?" Notti says backing up.

"We were just hanging out." Ddot lies. "I didn't want you to know because I knew you would make a big deal out of it. I wasn't cheating." Luckily for him, Notti hadn't seen the kiss.

Ddot walks up really close to Notti and wraps his arms around Notti's neck. He takes one off and shows his hand in front of Notti's face. "You see this ring? Do you remember it?" 

Notti nods.

"This is my promise to you. To love you." They pull close and kiss a couple of times.

"I know you love him. You have to choose. I can't keep doing this." Notti tells Ddot removing his arms from around his neck.

Ddot stands there thinking, not wanting to make a decision.

"Honestly, I think we both know that you're gonna choose DD. It's clear that you love him more than you love me."

"That's not true. I love you both equally." Ddot confesses.

"Doesn't seem like it." Notti says skeptical.

"I can't choose."

"You have to."

"I need some time." Ddot says quietly.
