Hey guys! So I'm back with Sage and Damien's story! A lot of you have been asking me non-stop about this so here it is! Hehe (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

This is going to be a short book as we're starting from the middle.

To my new readers and the ones who haven't read Hold Me, this is not a stand alone book. You can read Hold Me to get a better understanding of the characters' story but if you're someone like me who will start a show from the middle because they saw a good edit of a scene on tiktok or whatever, you can go ahead. Who am I to stop you anyway 😌

Anygays, here's a short summary of their story in case you've forgotten it.

So Damien appears in Hold Me as Alexander's (ML) rival. They're childhood friends and he's a very rich and successful alpha. The thing with Damien is that he doesn't believe in mating bonds.

Damien:- I believe in it but I'm not that fond of being tied to someone because of a stupid bond.

Me:- *looks around* *pauses* What are you doing here??

Damien:- This is my story???

Me:- *mutters* weird guy…go away. Anyways, He wants to choose his own destiny so he doesn't wait around for his mate and starts dating a girl, Vanessa, who has the same views as him.

Damien:- By the way, Vanessa is an amazing woman. You guys were so harsh on her for nothing.

Me:- Can you just go away???

Damien :- No

Me:- *closes eyes and takes a deep breath* Okay, so things are going smooth in Damien's life but that's when he meets Jude's best friend, aka Sage. Now Sage is a beautiful, intelligent, sassy, and confident male omega who is mated this idiot over here. *Points at Damien*

Damien :- That's true *nods* wait, what?

Me:- *Unimpressed* we know. *Clears throat* So Sage finds out that his mate is already in a relationship and he feels betrayed by it. His mental health and physical health are deteriorating because of the severed bond with his mate. And since Damien is an asshole deep inside just like every other alpha out there he proposes a plan to the omega.

Damien:- Excuse me??

Me:- *ignores him* He tells Sage to move in with him so they can stay closer which will help them both with the mental and physical problems they are experiencing.

Damien:- What was I supposed to do? He was fainting and stuff. I needed to take care of him.

Me:- Sage agrees after this creep follows him around everywhere.

Damien :- what???

Me:- As they're living together, they both get to know each other. Sage learns about Damien's past that made him lose his trust in mating bonds.

Damien :- *looks away* My parents are the reason. They were fated mates but it's the very bond that killed them.

Me:- *sighs* Anyways, as Damien is trying to find a way to break off the bond, he's also getting closer to the omega. One day when Damien comes back home, Sage is in heat. This makes him lose control and mark him. But then he runs away like a scared little boy and locks Sage in their apartment with an omega caretaker.

Damien :- I only had good intentions…

Me:- *rolls eyes* Sage is in despair as he can't do anything but go through the painful heat alone. Damien is hiding in a hotel and when Sage's heat is about to die down, he escapes from the house and goes to search for Damien.
He finds him in the hotel and then loses consciousness. Damien panics and calls Jude who knocks some sense into the alpha's empty head and then leaves.

Damien:- Wow…

Me:- That's where this story is starting from. There's a lot of information about their story I couldn't provide here. It's better if you read Hold Me, if you're interested to know them. Anyways, hope you guys have a good time reading this story.

The next part is character aesthetics so if you don't want to ruin the image of the characters you have in your head, you should skip it but if you're interested to know what my version of them look like, then continue 🤗 Don't “eww” me if you don't like them 😤
