Lorraine let out a scream as she fell, Ed was yelling behind Alexandra, who was still barely holding onto the ledge. She let out a scream as she felt a cold hand wrap around her ankle and drag her down, causing her fingers to slip off of the ledge and she plummeted to the floor.
She crashed to the floor and tumbled forwards, landing next to Lorraine, who had a cut on her forehead. "Are you okay?" she placed a hand on the younger woman's back. "Yeah, are you?" Alexandra asked, sitting up straight. "Yeah" Lorraine breathed.
Lorraine held up the little Jack-in-the-Box that April found when we first moved in and she opened it, twisting it so she could see and Alexandra shined the light behind her.
A large woman appeared in the mirror holding what looked to be Rory in her arms and she was crying 'look what she made me do' over and over. When the two living women looked behind them, there was no one there, and when they looked back at the box, Lorraine moved it down and the same woman was right in front of them.
There was a creaking next to them and the unknown woman slowly looked towards the noise, causing the other two to do the same. They started to move out from under whatever it was they were under when something dropped in front of them, startling them.
It was a pair of legs hanging there, the same legs they saw above Ed on the tree the other day, and it slowly started turning towards them before they heard a roar from it. Alexandra and Lorraine both started screaming and they crawled out and stood up, Lorraine pushing the younger woman ahead of her when she got pulled backwards by her necklace.
Alexandra quickly turned around and pulled the chain off of Lorraine and they helped each other up the stairs, running out into the arms of Ed and Roger.
They rushed into the living room where Carolyn was standing and Lorraine explained. "I know what she wants. She possesses the mother to kill the child, that's what the bruises are. She's feeding off of her" Lorraine pointed to Carolyn and the crosses that had been placed around the house start shaking before falling over.
Alexandra took a step towards her sisters, that were gathered in a huddle, when Nancy's hair started to be lifted up before she screamed and was dragged around the room. Alexandra rushed forwards when she sees Nancy heading straight for the glass divider, and she wrapped her arms around Nancy's waist, putting her body between the divider and her sister.
Alexandra crashed into the divider, the glass shattering as her head smashed into the wooden pole, causing her to lose her grip on Nancy as she lost consciousness.
Ed's POV:
Xander and Lorraine rush up out of the basement and into the living room, dust and blood coating their clothes and skin. "I know what she wants. She possesses the mother to kill the child, that's what the bruises are. She's feeding off of her" Lorraine points at Carolyn and the crosses around the house start shaking in place before falling over.
Xander takes a step forward towards her sisters but stops when Nancy's hair starts to be lifted up. "Uh, Nancy?" Christine whimpers, looking at her sister. Nancy screams as she is picked up and dragged around the room before being pulled towards the glass divider.
Before any of us can react, Xander rushes forward and wraps her arms around Nancy's waist, slowing her momentum slightly as they both crash into the divider, the glass shattering. A sickening crunch sounds out and Xander loses her grip on Nancy and falls limp to the floor.
Brad tries to catch Nancy and gets flung into the wall and me and Roger manage to wrestle her to the floor. She is then pulled from our grasp, leaving Lorraine to cut her hair and end the torment. Nancy cries as Carolyn and Roger comfort her and I immediately ask Drew if he got that on camera, which he did, before I rush to Xander's side.
"Xander? Come on, Xan, wake up" I brush the hair out of her fair, placing two fingers on her neck and feeling a soft heartbeat. "Alex?" Lorraine comes to my side and takes Xander's hand.
We stayed like that until the sun rose, praying that she would wake up. Drew had knelt down on the other side of Xander, holding her hand tightly in his own as Roger paced back and forth behind us.
Xander finally stirred, shifting with a wince before opening her eyes slightly, her dark brown eyes flitting around the room. She blinks a few times and groans as she shifts, glass crunching underneath her before she focuses on me.
Third Person POV:
Alexandra opened her eyes and saw Ed and Lorraine on one side of her, and Drew on the other, Roger pacing back and forth behind Ed. She groaned and blinked at the light, shifting slightly and regretting it immediately.
"Nancy?" she asked, looking around and locking eyes with Ed. "She's alright" Ed reassured her and she sighed in relief. "How long was I out?" she asked, slowly sitting up. "About 3 hours. It's morning now. Ed and Lorraine are getting ready to leave to get the exorcism approved" Drew explained, moving her hair so he could see her neck. "You're lucky. There aren't many cuts" Lorraine smiled.
Alexandra watched as her father moved over to comfort her mother and Nancy, calming them down, and she sighed, knowing that her sister mattered more than she did.
The Perron's decide it's no longer safe to stay at the house anymore, so they drove to a nearby hotel and stayed there for the day while they waited to hear from Ed and Lorraine. Carolyn had been acting weird all day and out of nowhere, she grabbed April and Christine and got in the car. Alexandra ran out the door and told Andrea to get their dad before she got in the backseat.
Carolyn didn't even acknowledge her eldest daughter and Alexandra wrapped Christine and April in a hug, April crawling onto her older sister's lap.
