(Okay, long one people. Hope you enjoy!)
So, after the whole ordeal with Jet, things had been... less than ideal. Especially when we stumbled upon two tribes that could not, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING, get along. The reason why was because-oh who gives a darn? But in the end, Aang lied about how their ancestors were siblings and when they were young played a game that involved a ball. Oh, and there were giant ants that we used to get out of a canyon.
I jump awake as I felt something jump on me. I sit up and look around, knife in hand. "Did we get captured again?" I look to my right to see Sokka with his knife and boomerang. "It's nothing. I just had a bad dream. Go back to sleep." Aang says, I look over to find him curl up. "You don't have to tell me twice." Sokka lies back down, but I keep my gaze on Aang. "Are you all right, Aang?" Katara asks him. "I'm ok." He's not okay with that tone. "You seem to be having a lot of nightmares lately. You want to tell me about it?" "I think I just need some rest." I think he needs to have a talk. "You guys want to hear about my dream?" I make an annoyed face as Sokka sits back up. "No. Sleep." "Gah!" I push Sokka down. "That's ok. I didn't want to talk about it anyway." He says. Katara then lies down and I do too.
I then see the two people again. My parents. I try to walk to them but right as I was about to touch the woman's shoulder, "(Y/N)! Wake up!" I jump awake and tackle the person who shouted. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! It's me!" I look to find that I had tackled Sokka. "Oops. Sorry." I apologize and get off him as I stand up. "Geez, do you have to tackle so hard?" He complains. I help him up then look to Katara and Aang looking at me with worried looks. "What?" I ask them. "Nothing. It's just that, you weren't waking up and we were worried something was wrong." Katara says. I sigh and stretch my arms, interlocking my hands above my head. "I guess I was more tired than I thought." I reply.
"Well, we packed up your weapons and other supplies. We were waiting for you to wake up so we can get going. The skies are looking pretty clear so it should be smooth flying." Aang says. I lower my arms as I look up at the sky. "Yeah. Though, we'd better smoothly fly ourselves to a market, because we're out of food." Katara says. I look over to her and see that she holds an empty bag. "Guys, wait. This was in my dream. We shouldn't go to the market." Sokka then says all of a sudden. "What happened in your dream?" Katara asks him. "Food eats people!" Really? I give him a 'really' look. "Also, Momo could talk. You said some very unkind things." Sokka says to Momo with crossed arms, who was standing at his feet. Momo lowered his ears at what he said. I rolled my eyes and bend down to pick up Momo. "I think you forget that not all dreams come true." I tell him, standing straight.
Momo climbs up to rest on my head as I quickly roll up my sleeping bag and walk up Appa's tail with Katara to get in the saddle. (Momo is our little buddy while Appa is our big boy.) "Hey, you never know. We dealt with spirits." I hear Sokka defend. "Yeah, yeah. And besides, you would eat people-eating food anyway." I counter. It was quiet for a moment. "Touché." I smirk at Sokka's response. Appa then took off and as I look up at the sky, I frown. I have a feeling in my gut that there was a storm coming. Why do I think that? Well, there is always a cam before the storm. Ain't there?
Zuko's P.O.V.
A clear day. It should be smooth sailing to finding the Avatar. "There is a storm coming. A big one." I lower the telescope from my face as I look at Uncle Iroh. "You're out of your mind, Uncle. The weather is perfect. There's not a cloud in sight." I tell him, walking over to stand with him. "A storm is approaching from the north. I suggest we alter our course and head southwest." He says. "We know the Avatar is traveling northward, so we will do the same." I state. "Prince Zuko, consider the safety of the crew." "The safety of the crew doesn't matter." I then felt someone watching and turn to face the lieutenant. He gives me a glare. I give one back. "Finding the Avatar is far more important than any individual's safety." I state, walking over and standing before him.
