TIME SEEM TO FLY by fast right after the season started, the team had already played 4 games fortunately winning them all so far

it was now october meaning the season was getting more intense and of course there is also the topic of halloween coming up and the birthdays of both Kameron and Paige

Paige's being on the 20th and Kameron's being on the 26th, the girls were talking about planning just one whole big celebration for both birthdays and making it halloween themed so it was like hitting 3 birds with one stone

or at least that's what Kk called it when she came up with the brilliant idea.

Kameron was currently at practice rehearsing their new routine for the next round of UCA which will be held on december and if everything goes well and they make it again, the squad will officially move on to the championships on march seeing as it will be part of the march madness

their coach has been working them hard every training making sure everything is executed perfectly and that their squad is in tip top shape for the second round of competition even though it was still two months away

but Kameron couldn't blame her, she understood why Jan was pushing them really hard— even without her coach's instructions Kameron was already pushing herself harder than everybody else to make sure her routines are excellent and her body was prepared and all of that

After practice, she found herself at their local cafe with Jackson and Torrence grabbing some coffees to drink before they headed home

"I know the competition is tough and all but I wish Jan would back the fuck up on us a bit like we still got two months" Jackson complained sipping on his matcha latte as he sat in front of the two girls who were also sipping their drinks

Torrence groans but agrees with the boy "dude I know, I feel like i'm training for the navy seals at this point"

Kameron just chuckles at her friends "I know but hey we got this, we're gonna be fine"

"you're crazy" Torrence mutters

"I mean do I want to strangle Jan whenever she makes us redo a stunt 20 times? of fucking course but I get it— tournament season is never easy" the cheer captain spoke trying to remain sounding alright but both Torrence and Jackson knows that she was starting to struggle as well

"and this is why you're the captain because me personally I could never handle dealing with coach's anger when one of us messes up" Jackson admits feeling bad for Kameron who most of the time is the one who has to deal with the wrath of their coach when the squad doesn't perform as well just because she was the captain

"with great power comes great responsibility" Torrence comments

Kameron rolls her eyes chuckling "you're such a nerd" as the girl said that she heard her phone vibrate against the table seeing a text message notification pop up on her screen

she opened it finding a message from Nika asking her where she was because they were about to go at their place to hangout

"ohh is that your lover girl?" Jackson smirks
