Taehyung had gotten way more anxious, not cause he believed that Jungkook didn't love him back, of course not. But because Jungkook had finally gotten better and moved out, well, he had to. Taehyung's parents would soon be back from their overseas business trip, and Jungkook wouldn't want to be a hostile factor.

Taehyung felt different about his situation with Jungkook now that he wasn't face-to-face with him 24/7.

Taehyung was tapping his foot constantly, and his palms pressed to the edges of the couch. He picked his nails in thought. He was waiting for his nightly calls with Jungkook. Yeah, after he moved out, they decided that if they couldn't meet physically, they would meet virtually.

And of course, Jungkook had threatened to kill himself if Taehyung didn't manage to call him each night for an hour or two. Taehyung couldn't help but snicker at the thought.

Taehyung was glad Jungkook was himself again, or even if he was just pretending for Taehyung's sake. Taehyung was just happy Jungkook was no longer as emotional as he was before. Taehyung slowly pressed a few buttons on his phone to call Jungkook, the wide smile refusing to leave his lips.

"Hello," Taehyung's heart skipped a beat when he heard that soft, pretty voice speak out from the other line. How he had missed that voice. Taehyung's lips moved forward to answer with the same softness in his voice.

"Hey," Taehyung whispered. He heard Jungkook sneer from behind the line. "Why the tiny voice? Don't tell me your parents already returned." Jungkook spoke as Taehyung shook his head.

"Of course not, I'm- I'm just kind of shy as you'd say." Taehyung laughed with the phone closer to his ear. God he knew Jungkook would laugh his ass off if he show how red he was.

"Why? We're literally lovers now, what's to be shy about?" Jungkook spoke with a laugh, he held onto an energy drink as he held the phone closer to his ear. His eyes looked down, waiting for Taehyung's response.

"Being lovers makes shyness even more prevalent," Taehyung scoffed as he spoke, What did Jungkook even mean by that. Does he mean he never gets shy because of him? Does Taehyung really have that little effect on him?

No, no, no, there's no point in thinking about this. Jungkook made it really clear he wants Taehyung just the same.

"Hm, wish I could see your shyness though," Jungkook voiced shakily. Taehyung's eyes widened. He pressed his lips together. "Y-you could," Taehyung whispered, and Jungkook laughed. Oh, his laugh made Taehyung feel so many things at once.

Taehyung pressed his head back to the headrest. "I don't like staying away from you. I noticed this even before- you know, when I started ignoring you and all," Taehyung recalled in a hoarse voice. Not his best memory.

Jungkook paused for a while before speaking. "You don't, so why do we have- have to stay away, can't you just come over?" Jungkook whispered, his voice breaking. Taehyung's brows fell.

"The only thing stopping me from coming over and curling up with you is the fact that it's too late in the night," Taehyung whispered into his phone speaker. He felt his cheeks warm, hearing the irritated whine, Jungkook managed to surpass with his response.

"Not fair, I wan' you," Jungkook whined, and Taehyung smiled widely, like an idiot.

"You do?" Taehyung started. He wished he could meet Jungkook again. Maybe he could. His parents wouldn't be coming back until a few more days, so maybe Jungkook and he could have a sneaky first date?

Taehyung really wanted to take a bigger step for their relationship. He was used to giving the steps. He was used to doing everything for his lover, and so why would Jungkook be any different?
