XI: Honesty
Third POV
As time passed for the very slow, almost dauntingly recovering family in Musutafu, presently those back in Sacramento had their own piece of mind to share.
The sound of click-clacking from Uraraka's keyboard echoed in her office. Aside from the fact that Asui, Todoroki were also present in the room with her.
Todoroki glanced at the woman, while Uraraka glanced right back at him. Neither of them knew just how much damage they had done to the initial plan formulated by Midoriya.
"So let me get this straight," Asui sighed, as she was just fully informed of the situation a night ago, though it didn't feel real to hear, "You, drunkenly told Ashido that Midoriya was pregnant and that he wasn't in the country, correct?"
Solemnly Uraraka nodded, finding herself way too fidgety as she deflected towards Todoroki, "Well, yeah, but I didn't tell her where he went!"
"Not like Todoroki did-!"
Asui turned to the man who picked up his bottle of water and swirled it around for just a moment.
"First of all, I wouldn't have needed to tell Bakugo if you didn't tell Ashido the news in the first place, knowing the kind of mouth she has," Todoroki defended, "Secondly, I was put between Bakugo and a hard place, literally."
He then gave a look to both women, "He said nothing would happen and all they would do is talk."
"He even took Haru with him, and I doubt if he had any plans of doing something terrible he'd allow his son to even be remotely present for it."
"Hey, I mean Bakugo does things in the name of his family and their inherited businesses," Uraraka hummed, her statement incredibly morbid, "Might as well start teaching the young one how to be as cold and ruthless like him, right?"
Asui picked her brows, letting out a dejected sigh, "Enough. We know Iida is there so all should still be okay."
She then tapped her chin, "What bothers me is his fiancée Maina Furasu, and a certain someone heading to Japan for 'business' while both bosses are present and attempting to sort out their differences."
Todoroki bobbed his head in agreement, "I agree, Uraraka, what business did Shinsou say he had in Japan?"
Uraraka looked up from her monitor, shaking her head, "No idea. He's an investor so I imagine he had a business meeting or two,"
"Either way, I doubt he'll interfere; While I might've mentioned Midoriya was in Japan taking care of work, he still made it clear to shinsou that he wasn't ready for a relationship with him yet and he apologized for potentially wasting his time."
An 'uh huh' escaped Todoroki's lips, knowing he had very little ground for his next assumptions, "He's not going to interfere, like how he randomly showed up in Midoriya's office when he and Bakugo were supposed to have their final talk."
Uraraka looked away before her attention came back to her companions who were giving her knowing looks, "Alright, Alright-! I know that was weird and definitely unexpected, but the best part is now that Bakugo is with him, there's a very good chance, that in the case Shinsou does try it again, they can work it out."
"Shinsou shouldn't even know Bakugo's there is that helps."
A look of hope took over her eager expression, as Todoroki and Asui could only give each other knowing looks before back to the woman.
"Honestly, even if they don't end up together, I'm just rooting for one thing." Todoroki stated, "And that's normalcy."
"I want both of them to find equal ground and stand on it, because this back and forth stuff is exhausting."
Both Asui and Uraraka let out hums of agreement, though the former added her own two piece.
"The best way for that to happen, is for them to honest with each other," She muttered, "About their feelings."
"Not just the most recent ones, but their past ones."
A huff came from Uraraka, "It's kinda funny, knowing that all they wanted to protect each other."
"...Midoriya didn't want to disappoint Bakugo by failing on their child..." Todoroki interjected.
"...And Bakugo only wanted to give peace of mind and not put his future family in jeopardy by getting rid of potential threats..." Asui added.
"It's so easy, repeating their desires out loud, and yet for the both of them it ended in a disaster because they were too scared to say it." Todoroki muttered, finding it almost comical if the situation didn't cause so much stress.
"Indeed." Uraraka and Asui's voices overlapped in unison, both equally hoping that things were going well back with their two bosses.

Shinsou's sharp purple gaze eyed the apartment units presented in front of them.
Inside a black SUV, he sat with his legs crossed, merely observing the residents who went about their normal day-to-day lives.
To be quite honest, he didn't really care for them, nor did he care for this place.
Finding himself damn near revolted at the area.
"What a shithole..." He mumbled under his breath, gently tapping the center console of his vehicle, generously provided by Juzo Honenuki for his stay in Japan, urging for his driver to go.
He looked down at his phone, knowing in a couple of hours he'd be meeting up with the man and his assistant over dinner as they formulated a plan.
Shinsou would've never imagine trying to woo an omega would be this difficult. Typically he had them in the palm of his hand.
Clearly, Izuku wasn't any type of omega, and Shinsou had made the right choice to pick up on that from the moment they had met back at the opera house.
"...Katsuki Bakugo..." He mumbled under his breath, thinking about the Alpha that most definitely never failed to be at the back of Izuku's mind.
As he pressed his head back on his seat, finding himself wanting to come undone, he couldn't help but chuckle,
"This should make this much easier on me without him present."
