Roohi, along with Shivu, entered the Birla house only to be welcomed by a grand birthday party. The hall was adorned with balloons and streamers, and a large banner read "Happy Birthday Roohi!" Yet, despite the festive atmosphere, Roohi’s mind was elsewhere, stuck in the cafe they had just visited.
Family members gathered around her, their faces lit with joy. However, Roohi's somber expression didn't go unnoticed. "What happened, dear?" Manjari, asked with concern.
Roohi remained silent, her eyes downcast. Shiv, sensing her reluctance, spoke up. "We met Mr.Birla and his family at the cafe. But he didn’t see us or recognize us."
A murmur of discontent spread through the room. Parth's expression darkened.
Just then, the door opened, and Abhimanyu walked in, accompanied by Akshara, his wife, and their children, Abir and Naira. They looked cheerful, completely unaware of the brewing storm inside the Birla household.
"Surprise!" Abhimanyu exclaimed, holding out a gift for Roohi. Akshara smiled warmly, and Abir and Nayara ran towards Roohi, eager to join the celebration. But the cold reception from the Birla family quickly dampened their spirits.
Shiv stepped forward, his face stern. "This is Roohi's birthday," he announced. "The guests will be here any minute. Roohi, go and get ready. I don’t want anything to ruin her special day." He said this, all the while eyeing Abhimanyu and his family.
Abhimanyu’s smile faltered. "We’re not here to cause trouble, Shiv. We came to celebrate Roohi’s birthday."
"Is that so?" Shiv replied, his tone icy. "It seems you’ve already caused enough disruption just by being here."
Manjari, sensing the growing tension, intervened. "Shivu , let’s not do this today. It's Roohi's day."
Roohi, feeling the weight of the confrontation, turned to Shivu. "It's okay, Shivu bhaiyya. I’ll go get ready." She gave a small, forced smile before heading to her room, her steps heavy.
As she dressed in her room, Roohi could hear the muffled voices of her family arguing downstairs. Her heart ached, knowing that her birthday was turning into a battleground for unresolved grievances.
Downstairs, Abhimanyu tried to diffuse the situation. "I know I've made mistakes," he admitted. "But I'm here now to make amends. For Roohi, for all of us."
Parth scoffed. "It's easy to say that now. But where were you when she needed you the most?"
Akshara stepped forward, her voice calm but firm. "We didn't come here to fight. We came to be a part of this family again, to celebrate Roohi."
Shivu: "We’ll see about that. But for now, let's focus on Roohi. She deserves a happy birthday."
As the first guests began to arrive, the atmosphere slowly shifted. Conversations turned more civil, though the underlying tension remained. Manjari and Akshara worked together to make sure everything was perfect for Roohi, while Abhimanyu tried to reconnect with family members.
When Roohi finally reappeared, dressed in a beautiful birthday outfit, the room erupted in applause. For a moment, the strained relationships were set aside, and the focus returned to celebrating Roohi.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang again. This time, Rohit and his family entered the house. Rohit, looked around the room, his expression confused. "Who are all these people?" he asked Shiv.
Shiv's face twisted into a mocking smile. "Oh, them? They're the great Abhimanyu and his family."
Rohit's expression changed from confusion to anger. He knew all too well how much pain Abhimanyu had caused Roohi. He clenched his fists, trying to keep his composure.
