“Baby-owl,” Bokuto woke (F/n) up gently, “Wake up,”
(F/n) was sleeping on her side and moved to her back, groaning.
“C’mon,” Bokuto moved some of her baby hairs from her face, “It’s the first day of the training camp,”
(F/n)’s eyes shot open and she sat up quickly.
Bokuto chuckled, “Someone’s excited,”
(F/n) rubbed her eyes before she turned to her brother and put her arms out. Bokuto grabbed her gently and brought her to the bathroom to help her get ready.

The night before…
“Are you sure your sister will be safe?” Hiromi asked her son.
“She will,” Koutarou nodded, “The entire team has her back if something were to happen,”
Ronin raised his eyebrow, “Are you sure? Who will watch her when you guys have to play?”
“Kaori or Yukie,” Koutarou answered, “Even coach said he doesn’t mind,”
“Really?” Hiromi was surprised.
“How did you convince him?” Ronin asked.
Koutarou scratched his head, “I had Akaashi to help me,”
Hiromi and Ronin both looked at each other and thought the same thing, ‘I can’t say I’m surprised,’
“So…?” Koutarou was anxious, “Can she come with us?”
Hiromi and Ronin looked at their son before sighing, “If she comes home with some form of injury, she’s not going to practice anymore,”
Koutarou nodded, “You have my word!”
Koutarou then went to (F/n)’s room to tell her the news.
“Baby-owl!” Koutarou walked into the room and saw that (F/n) was rearranging her owl plushies.
“Brother-owl!” (F/n) greeted him with as much energy.
“Guess what?” Koutarou smiled and bent down to match her size, “You’re going on the training camp with me!”
(F/n)’s eyes sparkled and her jaw dropped, “Really?!”
Koutarou nodded and ruffled her hair, “Yep!”
(F/n) hugged Koutarou before running to her closet to find her backpack, “We need to pack!”
