“What exactly are you implying,” Bruce asked his youngest son.
Danny and the birds had returned less than an hour ago. Damian had pulled his father aside as soon as he could to tell him of his theory.
“I believe that the group he is on the run from has either hurt or killed somebody close to him, as well as hurt Danny himself. We saw those few scars when his shirt rode up last night, as well as the fact that he tends to zone out quite often, likely a defense mechanism or he is having PTSD induced flashbacks. The photo I had found of Danny and the other two teens was covered in tear marks, and the way that he had looked at the photo once I had returned it to him implied more than just homesickness, which is what I had originally thought.”
Bruce nodded solemnly. He had wondered where the teens' family was in all of this. He knew he had a sister back home, but he didn't mention his parents much. Looking back, he could see the sadness in the teens' eyes whenever he did mention them. He had also never said anything about any friends, which is who he assumed was in the photo Damian had mentioned.
Could they have all been killed? Bruce surely hoped not. He had not known the teen for long, and while he was decently talkative, it was never really about anything deep or about his life. He seemed to try his best to avoid that topic as best he could, deflecting or dancing around the subject.
But, realistically, he had only talked to Danny twice, though he couldn't really call it talking, more listening, and he couldn't expect to know everything about him. He would, however, keep an eye on the boy.
He just couldn't get past how similar he was to his sons and himself, and he didn't just mean because of his looks.
“Thank you, Damian. Tell your brothers that I want you all to befriend him and keep him in your sights as much as possible.”
Damian nodded,” I believe that was already the plan, Father.”
Bruce returned the nod,” Good, while you do that, I plan to get close to Stark. He seems to know more about Danny than he is letting on.”
Normally Bruce would be more focused on getting his sons, his team, and himself back home, but oddly enough that was one of the last things on his mind at the moment.
He trusted his other ‘children’ back home to keep his city safe for the time being, and he knew that if a large-scale attack happened, they still had most of the League there to handle it. And as for Wayne Enterprises, he had people who he could rely on for that as well. He also knew he would be in this world no longer than a month if Danny's friend showed up when he had said he would.
So, in all reality, Bruce’s main focus at the moment was a child who was possibly in danger, and who was very possibly missing a family.

Danny hummed happily as he walked down the street towards his usual spot in the park, his guitar case bouncing against his back. He had his electric guitar as well as a small Amp on him today. The guitar was able to have both an acoustic sound and electric sound so it was perfect since he wanted to mix things up a bit.
He was extremely glad that Fury had allowed him to go out and perform that day, with the promise that he would train his portal ability once he returned. He managed to slip away from the heros using his invisibility since he didn't really feel like being followed. He couldn't risk any of the heroes being recognized if they came along with him.
When he got to his usual bench, there was already a crowd. They all cheered and greeted him as he walked up, making the teen smile.
His eyes quickly caught sight of Julian and Lucia in the audience, as well as a pretty teen holding the young boy's hand. He assumed this girl was Julian's Tia.
