In the silence of the moonless night,
Anubis mourns with pain and sorrow lingering,
Lingering and grasping as an Eclipse,
Wrapped in linen and bound in grief,
Grief of loss unforgivable,
Stars of Osiris high in crimson blood,
Blood fell against his shattered being,
Awaiting reunion and golden afterlife,
He whispers prayers for souls' relief,
Souls long stranded,
Souls own his being more than himself. In silence of the moonless night,
Beneath his claws the soil gives way,
Way to the golden slumber of eternity,
Grains delicate yet beautiful,
Array of galaxies golden within hidden bounds,
To secrets buried in disarray,
Osiris's body fated torn and scattered,
A dagger buried deep in the soul of his,
A divine heart cruelly shattered,
Shattered into pieces beyond fixation. In silence of the moonless night,
His righteous anger resembling a smouldering fire,
Blazing and blazing in cobalt flames,
Burns with the fury of a thousand pyres,
For Seth's chaos he witnesses the realm,
Where treachery's banner rests in opaque silence,
Darkness sharp as kophesh wielded by Seth,
In lazy trials to strike unprecedented,
Trials of golden death as Seth called,
Revoking the rage of Inpu,
A guide willing to bury his fangs in the godly flesh,
Tearing and shredding fibre by fibre. In silence of the moonless night,
Seth prowls the night as storm unbound,
Storm willing to swallow everyone in path,
His haunting laughter echoes,
A dreadful sound and song of destruction,
With eyes of red and soul of night,
Rubies belonging to the flaming pits,
He revels in cruel joy,
His being eclipsing his righteousness,
His judgement fading in his crimson insanity,
Chaos is his kin more than Osiris was,
Destruction his kin more than Osiris ever knew,
In every whisper and every lavender sin,
He weaves a tapestry of dread,
In shadows where the weak have bled,
And death has shined it's primordial chaos. In silence of the moonless night,
Through realms of sand and desolation,
Sand rejecting the horrors Seth unfolded,
Sand awaiting the wrath of Anubis,
He spreads his dark intoxication,
Poisoning the golden aura with crimson dread,
A God unchained and force unholy,
His heart a trapping void as his mind unholy,
Corrupt to the very core as he turned,
Turned against his blood brother,
Turned against the lord of Kingship,
Blinding his golden eyes,
Horus' fazed fate.In silence of the moonless night,
In the dim corridors of the underworld,
Underworld submerged in the darkness of abyss,
Where destiny's scroll were tightly furled,
Anubis stands with steely gaze,
Gaze filled with the lightening of honour,
To challenge Seth's destructive tendencies,
To instate glory in the land of sands,
In the land of pyramidal golden troupe,
Their clash orchestrating a symphony of strife,
Reflects the battles in mortal taint,
Where innocence is stripped away,
And trust in treachery's hands does wonders. In silence of the moonless night,
Anubis' wrath burning beacon bright,
Against the chaos of endless twilight,
In each strike his anger flows,
Establishing authority long lost and forgotten,
Restoring honour of Osiris long lost,
In each wound he delivers his justice grows,
Each trinket of blood was his golden justice,
In the streets where shadows dwell,
Where stories of betrayal birthstone catacombs,
We see the echoes of the divine wars,
In the scars that treachery flows. In silence of the moonless night,
Betrayed by companions and deceived by kin,
In a world consumed by hidden deception,
We walk on the path of Anubis' rage,
Rage flaring as a purple amethyst,
Trapped within our mortal cage,
Incapable of delivering judgement as humans,
For every Seth in our lives,
With venomous words and twisted swords,
Waiting to stab one in the back,
There is an Anubis flaring fierce and true,
Righteousness in his golden grace,
Fighting the darkness we must pass through. In the silence of the moonless night,
In the end where night descends,
And darkness falls upon the lands of the golden sand,
And the mortal journey finally ends,
We face the scales of truth and deception likewise,
Scorched deception and lies flustered,
Under Anubis' watchful eye,
Eye that sees all knowledge and lies,
Eye of perception,
With hearts weighted against the feather,
In a judgement that binds us for eternity of solace,
We confront the chaos we have bred through,
In a world where peace is overthrown. In the silence of the moonless night,
Anubis is the guardian of the dead,
Holds our fate in his crimson grace,
Protecting and guiding the despair from the world,
In a world where betrayal is laid naked,
In the misty and mournful night,
Where shadows dance in ghostly semblance,
We find the echoes of divine strife,
In the tumult of our mortal sins.~ Sapphirus
