Y/N could slowly feel himself coming back to consciousness. Everything sounded distant and muffled. He slowly opened his eyes, feeling dizzy. Everything looked blurry and slowly slid back into focus. The young man could feel that he was lying on a bed of some sorts.
Y/N could faintly see two figures standing above him. One appeared to be a man with long black hair and a wide grin. The other looked like a nice brunette. She had thin lips and a soft face. Y/N could faintly hear "Daylight" by Maroon 5 playing in the background with the brunette scolding the man for the song choice.
Caitlin: What are you doing?
Cisco: He likes this song.
Caitlin: How could you possibly know that?
Cisco: I checked his Facebook page. I mean, he can hear everything, right?
Caitlin: Auditory functions are the last sensory faculties to degenerate.
The long haired man walked over to a desk behind him, humming the song that was playing. Suddenly, Y/N jolted awake and sat up, taking in a deep breath. His sudden movement startled the two young colleagues.
Cisco: Oh, my God.
Y/N: Where am I?
Caitlin: He's up.
Y/N looked around the room he was in. It looked like a refurbished warehouse. The walls were a bit damp and rustic. Cracks in the ceiling tiles could visibly be seen. Computer screens and monitors sat on carts placed around the room. Y/N then noticed that he was sitting in a medical bed. An IV bag was hooked up to his arm.
The long haired man rushed over to a radio, calling for someone else in the building.
Cisco: Dr. Wells, get down here, like, right now.
Y/N was still trying to shake himself awake. He was confused by his new surroundings. It didn't help that the brunette woman was shining a light in his eyes, checking his responses to her tests.
Caitlin: Pulse 120, pupils equally reactive to light. Look at me, look at me.
Y/N tried to sit up and crawl out of the bed. The other man stepped over to him, trying to calm him down.
Cisco: Hey, hey, whoa, whoa, relax. Everything's okay, man.
Y/N: What... Where am I?
Cisco: That's a bit complicated.
Y/N: Wh... Who are you people?
Cisco: I'm Cisco Ramon. She's Caitlin. Uh, I mean, Dr. Snow.
The brunette woman, presumably Caitlin, held up a small plastic cup in front of Y/N.
Caitlin: I need you to urinate in this.
Y/N looked at her in confusion with wide eyes. He shook his head and crawled off the stretcher he'd been laying on. He pulled the IV out of his arm and rubbed his eyes.
Y/N: What is... What is happening? What is going on?
Cisco: You were struck by lightning, dude.
Y/N: What?
Y/N tried to think for a moment. He then remembered. He'd been in his lab when a storm was brewing outside. The last thing he remembered was trying to close the sky light before getting hit by something that felt like an electrical shock.
Y/N put his hand on his head and turned around. He then noticed himself in a mirror next to him. He was only in his shorts. However, that wasn't what shocked him. Y/N had been fairly well built before, but now, he had a serious six pack of muscles on his chest. He looked at his reflection in confusion.
