I woke up at around three p.m. and sat on the bed contemplating on the quarter life crisis. The dark clouds enveloped the November sky, the rainiest month of the year here. It had just stopped drizzling and looks inviting to step outside for a quick gasp of fresh air.

The presidential suite is enormous spreading across two lavish floors. Still in the skimpy transparent shirt, I hummed a tune while relishing the contemporary artistry of the place.

I have been intentionally indulging myself in skincare recently due to Aadrik's pesters. He loves 'selfcare' as he quotes and with time I am slowly giving into his snarky taunts over my negligence.

I wouldn't dare to call these excellent choices in clothing as my innate ability as over the past year, my style though seemed fabulous, my husband's bits have unconsciously rubbed upon the fabrics over time.

After checking the temperature outside, I wore a fine sweater with a beige covert that I stole from his closet last week.

I grabbed the umbrella set aside by my butler a ditching my driver for a moment, I waltzed across the street to find a presentable café for a quick snack.

"Madam, are you fine?", my bodyguard looked concerned.

"I feel pleasant I suppose", I was confused.

"Sir had instructed to make sure you are safe and comfortable", he stood straight and took a step back and I rolled my eyes at my husband's audacity.

"Take me to him", I wiped off the residues from the sugary treat as he nodded.

"We will have a nice walk into his place?", it was more of a statement as I knew he wouldn't disagree to my words.

"Let me hold the umbrella for you", it might pour down again any moment.

Passing through the affluent buildings I observed the passerby. Kids huddled over the shops, couples in love and loners with their coffee seemed content with their little world, chaotic nevertheless.

The office he was in was a just a twenty minutes quick brisk walk away. It was pouring cats and dogs as I entered the building slightly drenched.

The assistant was fast to take my coat as I walked to the receptionist.

"Dr. Aakriti Agnihotri", she gave me a knowing smile before redirecting a call to the manager. An opulent man in his 30's walked towards me and forwarded his hand for a shake.

"Good evening, Madam, I am Sebastian Kouris, the art director of Linus Tapestry", I smiled returning the gesture.

"Aakriti Agnihotri. Pleasure to meet you, Kouris", he led me to a private elevator.

"Been a while since I had a scenery of such beauty, I must say. Are you perhaps in the modelling industry?", his charming smile made me a bit hot suddenly.
