"Must you leave, Osa?" Raven paced the floor, the woman clearly upset, "You said it yourself this is questionable. Are you not afraid it could be Yok?" The dark haired woman's eyes were full of tears, "Osa I want to go with you." Raven clenched her teeth, her entire body was tensed, and nothing seemed to set right with her.

"Now darling you know that is not possible. You need to be here, with Luna." He grimaced at the thought of it being Yok. "It is possible, but Yok can only speak through her main host. She sees through all, but they are nothing more than flesh eating husks in her control." Osa took her shoulders and had her face him, a saddened hum came from him, "I don't know these Irinaut's, but what I do know is that they have a ship, and as much as I hate admitting it, finding them may be the only thing that's stopping us from getting out of here. This ship, it is falling apart faster then we can fix it, Raven." The male brought his hands to his sides, "We NEED their ship, and if we can't bring them here, I must go to them first. We don't have a choice." He brushed his fingers through her hair, "As much as I wish for you to go, you know my answer to that."

Raven sighed. The woman knew he wasn't wrong. The ship had been falling apart for some time now, and it seemed that they were getting nowhere with it, "Osa, I know we need the ship, but I have heard Fex's stories about these rouges. Ship or not it's not worth anyone's lives." She reached up to his hand before holding it tightly, "Please, Osa. Don't do this. Find another way. There has to be something."

Luna sat quietly in the room, but her leg bounced as her mother and father argued concerning Osa leaving. She didn't like the idea herself, "Papa, you can't tell me there isn't anything else you could do? L-Like have them come here with the ship? The Yetis will be exhausted going that far."

Osa let out a deep hum; his feathers fell flat against his neck. It was clear that everyone was against this, "Luna, we have to go. I can't risk giving up your location until I know we can trust them."

Raven glared at Osa. The woman's eyes were filled with sadness and rage all at once, "I'm not staying here, Osa. Whether you like it or not, if you go there, so am I. We're a team and I can't always help you from down here. If you are going there, you sure as hell better expect to be pulling me up with you. End of story." She looked at Luna, seeming to agree with her, "Maybe Luna is right. They should come closer. If they have the man power they are more than capable."

Osa's feathers ruffled, his eyes widened. Raven was one of the few that could go off like this towards him. Osa was for the most part, calm, but his feathers did ruffle, and a low whine came from him, "If it satisfies you both, I'll see about getting them to travel closer to accommodate our lack of supplies." He rubbed over his face, "Raven, in the mean time why don't you get your stuff ready to go up? You could use some sun."

Raven had seemed prepared to argue her point, but as Osa said she could go, relief clearly flushed over her face. The woman clasped her hands together in excitement. Even leaping at Osa and hugging him tightly around his waist. "Great! Because I planned on going either way." The dark haired woman glanced over at Luna, who wasn't smiling, and still clearly unhappy with the situation, "Luna, what's wrong?"

Luna glanced at Osa, but back down at the floor when he looked at her. There was no way to hide anything from him. Even now she didn't know how to block her father's telepathic powers or even if she could that is. "When will you let me come help? I, I feel like I could do some good. I could show them that things could change." The teen stood up, "I could show them that we are trying to go home to help our people there too."

Raven walked up to Luna before sitting down next to her. Osa followed and did the same on the opposite side before taking her hand in his, "Luna, you are very special to us. Do you know why?" Raven spoke softly as her arms wrapped around Luna's shoulders.

"Because I'm a Queen?" Luna's brow raised. She had heard it for so long, it wasn't an unusual topic. Osa wanted her to take pride in her heritage. Both of them did.

Raven giggled, "That does make you special, but more than that, you're our daughter, Luna." She rested her cheek against Luna's own, "You mean everything to us, and we know how dangerous it is out there even without Yok. You are safer here than you would be anywhere else. You're almost old enough to go out, but, not yet. Alright?"

Osa watched the two of them. He cocked his head to the side, his feathers fluffed lightly as he watched Luna and Raven together. It was times like this he felt content. The Irinaut calmly strolled up to the two of them before wrapping his arms around the both of them with ease.

The Irinaut hummed softly before rubbing his cheek to each of theirs, "I want nothing more than to see the two of you safe." Osa spoke in a soft tone, soft coos following. He pressed his forehead to Luna's, "You will be safe. Here. Your mother and I, and the family we have made here are working to make this world a safe place."

Luna laughed softly as Osa approached them and scooped them up against him. It was instinct to return the cheek rub. As this was one of Osa's common affections. Though as she felt his forehead rest on hers, and he spoke, all she could do is hold that thought about protecting them. The teen felt quite useless here.

Osa leaned back before looking Luna in the eyes. The male's feathers raised, and those golden orbs begin to emit a vibrant glow. The Irinaut smiled softly, a sweet hum escaped him, 'No need to be hard on yourself.' His thoughts echoed through, 'You will find your destiny with the hive, Little Moon.'

Luna smiled softly. She reached over and held Raven's hand, a soft hum came from her. It was rare as she found it embarrassing with age, but she often did it in front of Osa or her Raven when she was alone with them, 'You'll take care of Mom?'

Osa chirped, his feathers ruffled before he gave an immediate nodd, 'She'll be safe with me as long as she knows you are safe here. Yes?' He kissed both their foreheads as he held them tightly to him, 'I won't let anything happen to either of you.'

Raven rested against Osa; her eyes closed, and really, just doing her best to relax. She knew this was a lot for their daughter. Raven hadn't left the ship since before giving birth to Luna. She never knew what it was like to be without them both, and Raven understood that.

As the father and daughter shared their moment, the soft hums and thoughts between the two always seemed special, and easily made Raven content in the moment. At times when Luna was growing up, Osa often used this trick when she was upset or pouting. It was always easy to tell when Osa and Luna were speaking telepathically. It was his way of getting the child to express her feelings when she often hid them as her mother did when she was younger.

Raven finally spoke up softly, "Come on, we should see what we can do about that meeting. The sooner we get this other with, the better."
