Y/n's POV :

I was happy

Yeah I was

It was my first love after all

...

I thought me and ManJiro were a couple now

ManJiro did acted like he cared about me too...

For example he would sometimes show up in front of school with his bike and Send emma with draken

From Emma and the other's side it seemed like ManJiro was just helping her and Draken go on a date

But I knew what it was

But we both didn't shared it with anyone

I knew why

My life would be in danger then

"ManJiro Sano's Gf"

Yeah doesn't even sound right

... But just telling Emma was fine right?

Was he just playing around with me?

But it's alright,Why will he even want to tell people that he is dating someone like me

Baji was out of Jail soon

He went more reckless

Felt like something inside him just snapped

But he was still our friend

We were not the best of friends but close enough to joke and say hi when we see each other on the road

Close enough to ride on his bike when we would go to the beach

And close enough for him to pull my hair gently when I would lose a game of rock paper scissors

But that's the past now isn't it?

Baji passed away

Me and Emma were at home when a phone call came

It was Kenchin

"Where is Mikey?" He asked huffing and puffing

"Isn't he with you guys?" Asked Emma putting her hand on her hips

"..... Baji Passed away.... Mikey is nowwhere to be found currently" He said

"BAJI PASSED AWAY?" Shouted Emma as the voice reached me to the other room

The puzzle I was holding fell from my hand

Rain began soon

ManJiro came back home

"Where were you?!" I asked him

He looked at me, with an unknown expression

Suddenly felt like a realization came over his face

"He died.... In front of me" He said as he fell to his knees

We missed Baji dearly

...

ManJiro got distant again, always being in his room and not playing around as much

But I got it

He was still mourning

It's just been a month

But things soon got back in track when he came in front of school, Emma skipped school that day

Manjiro must have gotten aware of that and saw it as a chance to go on a date

He didn't really say anything

I got out at lunch time and he said

"Hop in"

..

He took me to the ocean again, it was just like before

I sat on that wall glancing at him while he stood in the road, looking at the ocean straight

It feels like nothing had happened

Baji was just in jail and will soon be back

... I looked at ManJiro

"It's okay" I muttered

"It wasn't your fault" I added

He came closer

I thought to hug me

He kissed me

It was a soft kiss

A smile came over my face while I was in the middle of the kiss

His hands were in his pockets but I was leaning onto him

He pulled away

"You have coaching right?" He asked as I nodded shyly

"Skip today" He said

He took me on the ghost house which I am afraid of famously

Everyone in the friend group knew I hated this types of stuffs

But I got along with it anyways because I thought ManJiro didn't knew

..

He had hugged and protected me from ghosts any chances he got

Made me realize he just took me there to make us get closer

.. He knew I am afraid of ghosts

...

He had taken me to dinner too

Ordering kids meal for the both of us

It was childish I knew

But I found it cute for some reasons

... It was a date

Not an ideal date for most

But MY ideal date

The night ended with me staying over at Sano house with Emma
