Scarlett let Brian drive them back to Harry's, where he was staying. The drive was quiet but comfortable, the night's excitement still buzzing between them. One thing led to another, and they found themselves tangled in each other's arms.

Brian woke up to the sound of his phone ringing, the harsh tone cutting through the peaceful morning. He reached for it, trying not to disturb Scarlett, who was nestled against him.

"The hijackers have hit again, but with three cars this time instead of four. Bilkins has decided that we're gonna move on Johnny Tran and his guys at 17:00. Unless you say otherwise. If you agree, just say yes," the voice on the phone said, businesslike and urgent.

Brian rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the grogginess. "Yeah," he mumbled, attempting to keep his voice steady and low.

Scarlett stirred beside him, her eyes fluttering open. "Who is that?" she asked, her voice soft but alert. She had always been a light sleeper, a habit ingrained in her from her time in the Navy.

Brian hesitated for a fraction of a second before leaning down to kiss her. "It's just the wrong number," he said, hoping to reassure her.

Scarlett accepted his kiss, but a flicker of doubt crossed her eyes. "You sure?" she asked, her instincts telling her there was more to it.

"Yeah, just a wrong number," Brian repeated, trying to sound convincing. He kissed her again, this time more lingeringly, hoping to distract her.

Scarlett let it go for now, though a part of her remained unconvinced. She nestled back into his arms, trying to savor the moment, but the unease lingered.

Brian held her close, his mind racing. He knew the clock was ticking, and he had to figure out his next move. But for now, he focused on the warmth of Scarlett beside him, hoping to hold onto the fleeting sense of normalcy just a little longer.

Brian's 1994 Toyota Supra MK IV was finally complete, gleaming with its new orange paint and decal to match the team's cars. Dom climbed into the passenger seat while Brian got behind the wheel. Scarlett followed them in her own car, ready to test out the new ride.

"Nice car. What's the retail on one of those?" Brian asked as they pulled up to a traffic light next to a Ferrari, with Scarlett's car behind them.

"More than you can afford, pal. Ferrari," the guy replied, revving his engine.

"Smoke him," Dom instructed.

As soon as the light turned green, they were off. Brian's Supra quickly left the Ferrari behind, weaving in and out of traffic, leaving the Ferrari in his dust. Scarlett, as she zoomed past, blew the man a kiss with a wink.
