Y/n's Pov:
Falling on the cold floor, I sat on the cold floor. The smell of Creeping Stench and Decaying Dregs filled the room with an unpleasant vibe. It was the evidence that the room was abandoned and there may be rats and cockroaches. Eww!!!
Though I could not see anything in the dark, I heard the rattling of rats and other creatures. I sat on the floor staring at the darkness with a tired look.
I rested my head on the wall. The darkness seemed inevitable. It was so familiar. It depicts my life. A life without hope. It has everything including pain, suffering, betrayal, hatred, and death.
"What am I ... fighting for?"
I raised my head, and my eyelids were growing heavy. My throat felt like the forest of the Sahara without a single drop of water. I was confused about which rats to listen to—the rats in that dark prison or the rats in my stomach.
The easy thing is to lay on this cold floor and wait for eternal sleep to take over me. That eternal sleep is so peaceful that no one can wake me up to torture me, give me pain, or use my body.
"How convenient!" A bitter chuckle escaped my mouth.
After my death, these rats will eat me out. There will be no last member of the Kim family. No Y/n. No revenge. No heartbreak.
I sighed as my lips dried. Once, I was afraid of darkness, and now, as it was right before me, I was confused about whether it was dark outside or inside.
I felt something walking on my hand. Feeling what it was, I "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
I got up within the blink of a second and removed that cockroach from my hand. I felt many cockroaches near my feet, and I ran as fast as possible.
It was a large prison. I stumbled on something and as I saw it was a skeleton of a man, I again "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
