As the sun blinds you, you hastily make your way into the school. Once you step foot inside, a cold waft of air hits the back of your neck, sending chills down your spine.
As you step inside, each step makes you feel more uneasy. You look around, and the halls seem to never end. You make your way deeper into the luminous elementary school.
When you reach the office, you clutch the knob. When you touch it, you get an off feeling. You shake it off and open the door. As you enter the office, there's a lady sitting at a desk to your left.
The office had an even darker feel. The walls seemed to drip with sadness and fear.
"H-Hello, I'm Y/n, L/n. I'm here to meet Mr.Krupp for the science teacher position," you say, timidly
"You're early." The secretary said in a chalky tone
"Oh, I know. Just thought I'd make a good impression," you say with a nervous smile.
She gives you a look that says, "Is this woman so serious right now?" You swallow as you sit.
You ended up waiting for 30 minutes until Mr.Krupp left his office. He seemed grumpy and upset. He just charged towards his secretary, not even acknowledging you.
You tried to easedrop as he talked to his secretary but you couldn't hear as they were talking quietly.
As he finished, he turned around to walk into his office when he saw you out of the corner of his eye. You noticed he saw you and got nervous.
"Are you Y/n, L/n?" He said sternly, placing his hands on his hips.
"Yes, I am, and you're Mr.Krupp." You offer your hand for him to shake, but he blatantly ignores you.
"Come into my office." He said as he walked in, not even checking if you were following.
As you walk in and sit, he just stares at you for a moment. A small fan blows at him from in the corner of his office on top of a file cabinet.
As he sits and stares, you grow more and more nervous, his eyes locked onto you. You wanted to look away but couldn't. He had you strapped in his gaze.
Finally, he leaned back and asked
"So, you're interested in the science teaching job, correct?"
"Yes, and I have all the degrees to prove it," you say with a slight chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. He obviously wasn't amused as he raised a brow at you.
"I don't care about any degree. Can you start this up comming school year?" He said, getting annoyed at you.
You start to get fed up with his attitude.
"I can, and will if you treat me decently." You say in a serious tone.
He was slightly shocked at your change in mood. You saw a slight smirk form at the edges of his lips.
"If you're going to work here, you're going to have to lose your attitude." He says, leaning over his desk.
"Lose yours," you stand up and exhale. You make your way to the door, and before you leave, you say, "See you in a month." You close the door and leave.

(Krupp's POV)
As Y/n left my office, an oddly longing feeling set into my gut. No one's ever given me and once of the attitude she has. I slightly snicker to myself as I lean back in my chair. I smirk and look through her files. The smirk still plastered on my face as I flipped through her many degrees.
