The morning arrived with a crisp, refreshing air at Sophie's estate. On the boys' side of the mansion, Sebastian, Alex, Nick, Jon, William and Chris gathered in the grand foyer, dressed impeccably in expensive suits tailored to highlight their wealth and status. They exchanged admiring glances, appreciating each other's choice of attire."Sebastian, that suit looks like it was made for you," William remarked with a grin, adjusting his cufflinks.
Sebastian chuckled modestly. "Thanks, William. Your choice isn't too shabby either. Classic and elegant."
Alex, always the one with a hint of mischief, teased Nick about his tie choice. "Nick, did you raid your grandfather's wardrobe again? That tie looks like it's from another century right Jon?"
Jon laughed while Nick straightening his tie with a mock scowl. "Hey, I like the vintage look. It's classy."
As they bantered, the boys' camaraderie shone through. Despite their initial skepticism about the day's activities, they found common ground in their shared humor and sense of style.
Girls' Side
Meanwhile, on the girls' side of Sophie's mansion, Eliza, Bella, and Olivia shimmered in exquisite dresses adorned with jewels from their families' collections. Their attire exuded elegance and refinement, showcasing the opulence they were accustomed to. They gathered in a sunlit sitting room, their anticipation tinged with uncertainty about the day's plans.
"Eliza, that gown is absolutely stunning," Bella complimented sincerely, adjusting her own necklace.
Eliza smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Bella. Your dress is equally breathtaking. It suits you perfectly."
Olivia twirled slightly, her jewelry catching the light. "I'm glad we can at least look fabulous while we... visit farmers?"
The girls exchanged bemused glances, their thoughts mirroring their skepticism about the upcoming activities.
### Gathering in the Hall
In the main hall of Sophie's estate, the butler stood beside Sophie, who was dressed in simple, farmer-like clothes, her eyes twinkling mischievously as she observed the assembled heiresses and boys. The butler cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention, and Sophie's expression turned serious.
"Ladies and gentlemen," the butler announced, his voice carrying authority, "today, you will be visiting the farmers surrounding the estate. Our staff and the farmers themselves will guide you through their daily routines and give you hands-on experience in their work."
There was a murmur of surprise and skepticism among the heiresses. Some exchanged incredulous glances, clearly taken aback by the unexpected turn of events.
"Mister, surely this is a misunderstanding," Chris spoke up, his tone polite but firm. "We are the sons and daughters of some of the wealthiest individuals in the country. Farming isn't exactly... relevant to our lives."
Jon nodded in agreement. "With all due respect, we were expecting activities more suited to our status and interests."
Eliza, however, looked intrigued rather than dismayed. "I think it sounds fascinating. It's a chance to learn about a different way of life."
The butler raised a hand to silence the objections, his expression calm but unwavering. "Rest assured, this activity has been approved by your parents as part of a broader educational experience. If you have concerns, I encourage you to discuss them with your families."
He paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing. "You have time to prepare and you can also 8contact your parents if you wish. Our staff will assist you in changing into appropriate attire for the day."
With that, the butler gestured to the staff, who began distributing simple farmer attire to the heiresses and boys. The atmosphere was filled with a mix of reluctance, curiosity, and determination as they reluctantly accepted their new outfits, contemplating the day ahead and the unexpected challenge awaiting them at Sophie's estate.
