[Y/N'S POV]

I woke to the sound of my alarm ringing, and I slammed the sound shut. I am not ready. I got ready, grabbed my school year schedule, and headed out to F.P.E. School. I sighed softly, why must I attend school in the middle of the year? How annoying. I walked inside and was immediately greeted by a short-haired girl, who introduced her name as Claire.

"You must be new! I never seen a face like yours before!"

"Uhm, yeah. I'm new here."

She offered to show me around and I accepted, smiling at her carefree nature. We met a guy with feathers in his hair as we reached the library.

"This is my friend, Engel! Engel, this is Y/N!"

"Hi, Y/N. It's refreshing to see a new face here!" Engel said with a warm smile.

"Here, why don't you take it from here? I haven't been to the 2nd and 3rd floor yet." Claire said, smiling at me, "We also have to go to the pool room."

"We have a pool!?"

The two giggled at my reaction while I stood there awkwardly.

"Haha, sorry. That's exactly how I responded when I first heard."

As Claire said her goodbyes, I was left alone with Engel. He guided me to the 2nd floor where I met the school's bullies, Oliver, Zip, and Edward, who swore to make my days at school a living hell, not that school's already hell...we continued onto the third floor then arrived at the pool. I was in awe that this school could afford such things, considering how broke my previous schools were. Engel told me that sometimes, we were allowed to swim in the pool during specific classes but to be wary of Zip and Chip's paper boat. It didn't seem too threatening, I mean it's paper so it should break after a few seconds, and who even has the time to make a life-size boat? It should be a small boat, right?

After I finished exploring the pool, we walked to the exit just as the bell rang.

"Do you need help finding your next class?" Engel offered, "It gets a little confusing around here from time to time."
