Grady's Blood

Y/n POV

We were all hiding behind trees late at night infront of Kash's compound, waiting for Darius to give us information of Kash's plans with the control chips. Mae and the Indoraptor were still at the cave, presumably sleeping. We were waiting for Darius to come at the agreed time but he was late and everyone was starting to get anxious.

Ben: *whisper* He's late.

Y/n: *whisper* He might be talking to Kash or trying to get out here.

Then, we saw Darius leave the compound doors and start running to us but he was blown to the ground after what looked like a small missile hit the ground behind him before a large black robot walked up behind him with Kash next to it with a golf club.

Kash: *distant* I see you've found your new babysitter. Or rather, it's found you. It's part of my new fleet of upgraded models. I call it BRAD-X. After you disappeared, it seemed like a good time to take this baby for a spin. BT dubs, what are you doing out here?

Darius: *distant* Honestly? I've been cooped up all day. Can't I go for a walk?

Kash: *distant* Sure you can, and from now on BRAD-X will be right there with you. And incase you get any ideas.

Kash then starts beating the new BRAD model with his golf club extremely aggressively before stopping and holding up the bent and dented golf club while the BRAD-X hadn't received a single dent.

Kash: *distant* This new model is virtually indestructible.

Kash began walking inside followed by Darius and the BRAD-X but he quickly turned to us and held up six fingers before the doors to the compound closed.

Ben: *whisper* Six?

Kenji: *whisper* The hell is that meant to mean?

Brooklyn: *whisper* No idea. But we need to know what Darius knows.

Y/n: *whisper* I say we head back to the cave and come up with a plan in the morning. We all need some rest.

The others nodded and we quickly slipped away into the jungle while the moonlight guided us. After a few minutes, we all arrived back at the cave where we saw Mae asleep and Y/n keeping an eye out for any BRADs. Every laid down somewhere and began to fall asleep for the night but I heard Yaz tossing and turning just an hour into everyone's sleeps. I was about to go over and sleep with her but I felt something roll me toward her which was revealed to be Y/n. 

He pushed me next to Yaz which woke her from her sleep and I couldn't tell if I was seeing things or not but I thought I saw her blush but when she saw the Indoraptor laying down with us she froze until I placed my hand on hers which seemed to have calmed her down. Y/n laid down with us and rested his head next to Yaz before licking her hand and wrapping his tail all the way around us, giving us both a feeling of safety and security with him. I felt Yaz's arms wrap around me which made my heart beat faster before I also wrapped my arms around her and fell asleep without any nightmares.

[time skip]

I felt my arm being shaken lightly which prompted my eyes to flutter open where I saw Yaz petting my raptor while shaking my arm to get my attention. I groan while sitting up and leaning on Y/n's body while Yaz continued to stroke his scaly head.

Y/n: Seems like you're getting pretty comfortable with him.

Yaz: He's acting like a therapy dog.

Y/n: I guess this is him trying to get us comfortable around him so we can help him get back to Nublar.

Yaz continued to stroke his head while he purred in satisfaction. Yaz stood up while running her hand along Y/n's head before walking away while I just smile in awe at her attidute and beauty before a tail hit me in the head so I turned to Y/n who turned his head to Yaz before looking back at me.
