School's about to end. Dismissal is just a few minutes away.
I told Bubba that I'm going to stay back at school today beforehand, to find some preparation for my Halloween Cosplay.
I still don't have any ideas yet, even though today was strangely chill. No events, no drama, no nothing.
...

I pushes the big giant door open, making my way into the library.
And oh boy, the library didn't forget about Halloween too.
The wooden furniture and flooring already gave it an autumn-like scheme, which sort of is somewhat similar to Halloween's color palette.
I don't know if it's just me, or did the library get a little more orange. It looks more orange to me, feels as if somebody repainted the walls, or somebody git new flooring. There's a few pumpkins scattered around the room, as well as some lit candles. The room smells like mild pumpkin spice, it's not too intense. Just feel bad for those who have sensitive noses.

I arrived at the librarian's desk. The librarian isn't here, but there's a little sign on the desk..

Apart from that was a computer, paperwork, a printer, and an empty cup of.. probably coffee.
And next to the librarian's desk was a coffee table. There was.. cakes?
Cakes..? Chunks, slices, cubes, pieces.?
As well as fruit and other desserts..
With a twist..
They're pumpkin flavored..
Pumpkin cake, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, heck, they even have cartons of Pumpkin Milk, or juice, I don't know.
I checked again, and there's another sign..

That sign sure is truthfully brutal.
But I guess, free snacks are free snacks!
I grabbed a cookie, and a carton of maybe milk, I think. I'll come back later.
I took a bite of a cookie. Honestly, pretty good. But the milk...
...
I got out my straw and inserted it into the carton, then I sipped slightly.
...
It's pretty fragrant with a little but if spicy scent. Milk's not too sweet, but not too bland. I'll say that it is mild.
If this is all natural milk, it's definitely a Must-Try.
I looked at the back of the carton and read the small text on it.
...
Apparently this is milk produced exclusively by the school, for such an occasion.
This highschool is something.. different.

We're getting a little off-track here...
I'm supposed to find references for my Halloween Costume, not goof around and eat some Pumpkin Snacks.

I went straight to the Sci-Fi section of the books, because that's what I just thought of now. I quickly skimmed through the long rows of books neatly displayed on the shelves and racks.
I did manage to pick out a few books. I opened one.. closed it. Then another one.. and another one.. and then another one...
........
Honestly, the ones I just read were just about some war that's taking place but in a futuristic setting, where there are really epic cyber weapons like laser beams and galatic melees. One of the books mentioned a group of thieves whose infamous for their cyber masks and high-tech gadgets. I did read the first few chapters carefully, and it was amazing. Being a Phantom Thief sure is cool, but where the hell am I gonna get a Laser-Charged Railgun and a cool futuristic cyber-punk metal mask?
