STRINGS || MIKHAIAH

CHAPTER 17

Mikhs decided to stay there for long, he's just enjoying the peace and quiet place because of tiredness.

Sunod sunod naman ang messages na natatanggap nito sa mga kaibigan asking if he'll make it to the victory party tonight.

"Look ma oh, my friends are reaching out to me asking if I can go to our party hahaha. Alam mo ma, you don't have to worry up there. I found friends that became my family specially Maloi." Mikhs said.

"She's taking care of me and she's like you. Maaalahanin at mabunganga." Mikhs said then let out a small laugh.

"But she's genuine, she's pure, and she never failed to make me feel loved." Mikhs said and realized all of Maloi's effort for him.

"Mahal ko siya, pero mas mahal ko si Aiah." Mikhs said out of nowhere. Nagulat naman ito sa sinabi niya.

"Did I just admitted my true feelings towards Aiah?" Mikhs said in shocked.

"Ma, do you think I should keep on hiding this feeling? Or should I tell her the truth na? can you give me a sign?" Mikhs said while looking at his mom's tomb.

Right after Mikhs asked his mom for a sign a text message popped up in his phone. He looks at it and then...

From: Aiah

Hey Mikhs? Are you coming, we're on our way na sa location ng party we're expecting you to come ha. We'll celebrate tonight,

"Ma is this the sign?" Mikhs said. He is a bit hesitant to reply dahil wala siya sa mood makipag socialize that night but he asked for a sign and his mom gave him one.

After a few moments a new message popped in.

From: Aiah

I have some important things to tell you din so you have to be there. I can't wait to see you Mikhs!

Mikhs smiled as soon as he read the message and decided to bid good bye to his mom.

"I'll go ahead now mommy. I think tonight is the right time to tell her everything." Mikhs said then smiled.

To: Aiah

Hey yeah I'm on my way na. I'll see you guys there.

Mikhs said before driving away.

Mikhs arrived at the location of the bar somewhere in Quezon City. Sinalubong naman agad ito ng mga kaibigan niya who are already having fun.

"Hey you made it." Maloi said at bumeso sa kaibigan.

"Tol I'm glad you're here." JR said at nag bro hug sa kaibigan.

"OH ANDITO NA YUNG MVP EY KA MUNA DIYAN! EEEYY!!" Sean shouted.

All of the people inside the bar shouted "EYY" as soon as they heard that Mikhs arrived.

The bar is exclusive only for the whole team and their family. It's a private event and they rented the whole bar for the night complete with a DJ and a good music.

"Kung di ka pa siguro pinilit ni Aiah di ka pupunta no." Cole jokingly said at nakipag bro hug kay Mikhs.

"Sus si Aiah eh malakas sakin yan." Mikhs replied then let out a small giggle.

"Here's your drink king and congratulations!" Staku said happily. Agad namang ininom ni Mikhs nang isang tunggaan ang alak na inabot sa kanya ni Staku.

"Huy dahan dahan lang mahaba pa ang gabi." Gian said.

"Well I need some alcohol courage sorry." Mikhs said in his thought.
