Just Like Magic

Bang Chan stayed awake the whole night. He couldn't get even a wink of sleep after what happened few hours ago. It was 3 in the morning and he just laid on his bed while Seungmin cuddled him, sound asleep. He was scrolling through his phone when the emergency alarm went off. He immediately got up, followed by Seungmin who woke up because of the alarm

"We need to evacuate everyone."

Bang Chan stated as he could smell fire not to far from their dorm room as Seungmin nodded and decided to wake Hyunjin up first cause it was difficult to wake him up. Minho woke up abruptly as he looked around and smelled something burning. He felt a pair of hand wrapping his torso and saw that it was Jisung. He sighed deeply and woke him up. Felix woke up as well and woke Changbin up and soon enough, everyone was awake in dorm room 008

"You have to be kidding me."

Changbin whispered underneath his breath as in no time, they were outside dorm room 016

"Jongho! Wake the fuck up!"

Seungmin shouted as he was scared. Changbin disappeared again to who knows where while Jongho opened the door almost immediately

"I am awake smartass. Lee Know hyung do you mind-"

"Room 017..."

Minho mumbled as he looked at the dorm room next door and in a split second, he kicked the door down

"E-Everyone... It's ethanol fire..."

Minho whispered as they all gulped and stepped away from Seventeen's dorm room

"Where on the earth is that fireball?"

Hyunjin whispered underneath his breath as he tried to look in the room but he didn't see Chan inside

"Why aren't they waking up?"

Yunho, who came outside after Jongho opened the door, whispered as he frowned a bit. Hyunjin tried to get in but a strong force pushed him back

"Rain! Rain!"

Hana screamed as Gyuri held her back from doing anything stupid. It took a while for Jisung to realize what was blocking Hyunjin and Hana's screams

"Soundproof invisible wall..."

Jisung whispered as he mumbled a spell underneath his breath to remove the wall while Changbin was back with BTS

"What on the earth is happening here?"

Namjoon whispered as Yoongi pulled them back and drew his sword

"We need to douse this ethanol fire. Where is Dino?"

Yoongi asked as they all became silent. This scared Yoongi because he could lose the only people he had left to live for and he couldn't risk it. He glared at the door because he could sense a strong force blocking it. Jisung in the meanwhile managed to weaken the force of the wall, allowing Jongho to break the wall easily

"We need to do something-"

"Seungmin, use your ice to freeze the fire. Yongbok and Lee Know, find the source of the fire and get Seungmin there. We will get the 15 of them out of there."

Yoongi instructed as he couldn't lose his brothers. He just couldn't. Not again

"Alright."

Seungmin whispered underneath his breath because his brother's life was in danger too and he couldn't afford to lose him. He mumbled a spell and looked at Bang Chan for help, who gladly helped him show where the fire is as Seungmin froze it. Minho and Felix in the meanwhile tried to find out where the fire came from and it was from the vent on the ceiling

"Mingi! Get in the vent system with Deji noona and find where the fire is coming from!"

Minho shouted as Mingi nodded and looked at Deji, who smiled and gently held Mingi's shoulder while he turned into a shadow and slipped through the vents

"Seungcheol!"

Namjoon shouted as he rushed in and woke Seungcheol up. Seungcheol was shocked and surprised but when he sat up and looked around, he realized the danger they were in

"Jimin hyung! Let's get them out of here!"

Changbin shouted as Jimin nodded before helping Seventeen get out of there. Hana hugged Danbi tightly and cried as she was scared of losing her soulmate. Hanjin hugged Samuel tightly as he too was afraid of losing his soulmate. Yoongi hugged his brothers and made sure that the others were alright too

"Seungmin! The fire has spread from the spells and potion lab! Hurry!"

Deji's voice could be heard through the vents as Seungmin was immediately teleported by Jimin. They were glad that the headmaster had installed such a fire system that could detect ethanol fire

"How did that even happen?"

Joshua asked as Jungkook sighed and pointed at Minghao and Junhui

"Won hyung and Gyu are not present."

Jungkook pointed out as everyone tensed up. Could it be because of Wonwoo and Mingyu? But how could they be so careless enough for playing around with ethanol fire?

"That's because they were called by nurse Jeon to the nurses office before everyone went to bed."

Junhui responded as Minghao nodded in agreement. Yunho had a gut feeling that this wasn't going to go well so he intervened

"Let's go to the nurses office and find out for ourselves."

Yunho stated as he took the lead and headed to the nurse's office without waiting for anyone's response or opinion. It was times like these that Namjoon was thankful to have people like Yunho in their friend circle

"Thank you, Yunho."

Namjoon whispered as Yunho just smiled and nodded. They stopped in front of the nurse's office and heard Mingyu arguing with Mrs. Jeon

"Tell me how to undo my bound please!"

Mingyu shouted as Mrs. Jeon took a deep breath before looking at him with pain in her eyes

"I can't. This isn't supposed to be shared outside the Jeons. Please understand Gyu."

Mrs. Jeon stated with a shaky voice. She couldn't afford to break her nephew's trust

"Wonwoo isn't in there."

Jihoon whispered as they all froze. Could Wonwoo be the one who started the ethanol fire?

"He isn't the one."

Soonyoung whispered back as he growled. He knew that Wonwoo couldn't and will never do such kind of things

"Where is Wonwoo?"

Junhui whispered as they all thought carefully. Where could have Wonwoo gone if it wasn't him?

"Guys! Wonwoo hyung is-"

Bang Chan froze. Seungmin's mind communication never got interrupted unless they all break away from it at the same time

"We need to get to Seungmin-"

"Nothing to be worried about. Seungmin was almost crushed by Wonwoo but I managed to hold Wonwoo just on time."

Jimin stated as he was holding an unconscious Wonwoo in his arms. Jihoon rushed towards him as he got ahold of Wonwoo from Jimin

"Wonwoo! Hey hey Wonwoo!"

Jihoon whispered and patted Wonwoo's cheeks gently to wake him up. Wonwoo groaned and gently rubbed his eyes as he was surprised to see Jihoon

"Where am I? Where is Gyu?"

Wonwoo asked as they all were relieved that nothing happened to him

"You were in the ceiling of the spells and potions lab."

Jimin stated while crossing his arms. Wonwoo was confused as the last thing he remembered was waiting outside the nurses office for Mingyu

"B-But I-"

"Guys... You all might wanna come to the spells and potions lab... asap."- Seungmin
