Kokichi's POV (3rd person):
It was night time right before the last day where the countdown will reach 0.
Kokichi was walking back to the library, why, you may ask? He already had suspicions that a murder would happen, so he decided to check more of the library, he had a hunch that something would happen here for some reasons.
Once he arrived there, he made sure not to trigger the cameras he and Shuichi placed and looked up at the vent he saw when Kaede started rearanging books.
Kokichi furrowed his eyebrows at the vent and used the ladder to climb up, looking closer at the vent. as he arrived all the way up, Kokichi noticed that the books underneath were weirdly arranged, they looked like they were a makeshift slide.
He followed the whole way where the books leaded, and it indeed looked like Kaede did something much more than rearanging the books. Kokichi looked back at the vent, lost in thoughts.
He soon came to the conclusion that he should find where the vent leads.
Kokichi opened the vent and checked if he could fit inside, luckily, he was short and pretty thin, so he could fit in easily.
The supreme leader crawled inside and followed where the vent was leading, and after a while, he arrived inside a classroom. He got out of the vent and wiped dust off his clothes as he stood up.
Kokichi exited the classroom and checked the classroom number: "B2" (I invented it cuz I was too lazy to search what number was the room where the vent was).
The purple haired boy also noticed that this room was right next to the stairs to the basement that led to the library.
He took out a block note he found in his room and noted it down before heading back to the dormitories, satisfied with his research.
The next day, Kokichi and Shuichi talked about their plan, they soon decided to go to a classroom to wait for Shuichi's moving censor reciever to go off.
The leader made sure that the room they would go in wouldn't be the room with the vent, because after hours of thinking, he knew that he had no choice to let a murder happen in order to let the others live. He had no choice but to let this necessary sacrifice happen for the others' sakes.
On their way of going to the classroom they agreed on going, Kaede accidentally bumped into Shuichi, making both of them fall.
Kaede picked her things up that fell from the accident and franctically apologized to Shuichi before running off to... the classroom B2. Kokichi noticed it and made himself a note in his mind before helping Shuichi up.
Soon, they both arrived to the classroom they planned on staying in and sat to a desk next to each other.
"not too stressed, Shuichi?" Kokichi giggled at Shuichi's anxious face, acting carefree to help him relax a bit.
"S-sorry, it's just scary to know that our life depends on this plan..." Shuichi sighed, looking down. Kokichi scooted closer and booped Shuichi's nose to make him look at him, which worked.
"Hey, it's the plan made by the Ultimate Detective and the Ultimate Supreme Leader we're talking about! We're gonna save everyone, got it? And everyone will be on their knees because of how thankful they are to their saviors!" Kokichi pridefully raises his hands to the air meanwhile Shuichi laughed softly at his behavior.
"Sure, sure, whatever you want, Kokichi. Hey, talking about you being a supreme leader, you never really explained your talent!"
With that, Kokichi proudly started explaining that he had an organisation of over 10,000 members that ruled the world, which Shuichi doubted about, but was still happy to listen since it pulled his ideas away from his worries.
"So, what do you think Shuichi? After knowing all that, you're obliged to join! or else I'll have to kill you!" Kokichi stated dramatically.
Shuichi simply rolled his eyes and smiled at Kokichi. "I'll think about that." He laughed while ruffling Kokichi's hair playfully.
Suddently, a loud noise-music was heard and the monitors turned on, showing a bunch of stick figures being killed as the countdown showed that only one hour was left.
Kokichi quickly noticed that it startled Shuichi and that the loud music made him even more anxious than before.
"Hey, Shuichi!" The leader called out while he covered Shuichi's ears with his hands to tone the noise down a little. "Look at me, Shuichi."
Shuichi looked at Kokichi, his gaze softening when he saw Kokichi's beautiful amethyst eyes looking into his. "Everything is gonna be okay, it's just a stupidly loud music, don't worry."
Shuichi soon calmed down after a little while and Kokichi slowly stopped covering the detective's ears.
"Take out the reciever, I think that the Mastermind is soon going to go inside the library." Shuichi nodded at Kokichi's words and started searching through his pockets.
"H-huh?" Shuichi kept on looking for the reciever but didn't find it. "Where is it..? I'm pretty sure that I took it before we left!" Kokichi started calming the panicking Shuichi down once again before speaking up.
"hey it's okay we still have time, let's go back to your dorm to check if you forgot it there alright?"
Shuichi nodded and they quickly ran out to look for the reciever.
It was nowhere to be found, not even in Shuichi's dorm.
"O-oh gosh what do we do... what do we do!-"
-DING DONG BING BONG-
...
The loud music of the countdown stopped and instead of the dying stick figures, Monokuma appeard on the monitors.
"A body has been discovered! Please head to the library!"
Monokuma disapeard from the screen and Kokichi turned to face a shaking Shuichi.
"L-library...? Dead body...? Is it... my fault..?"
"Why the heck are you blaming yourself for something you clearly didn't do?"
"Well it happened in the library..! If I didn't lose the reciever, we could have stopped a murder from happening!"
Kokichi remained silent, Shuichi had a very small point, but the leader knew for a fact that Shuichi didn't lose the reciever, he saw him taking the reciever with him before they left! And if it was someone's fault, it would be Kokichi's, because he willingly let the murder happened.
Kokichi shook his head and remained silent before grabbing Shuichi's hand. "Let's just go." Shuichi nodded and they quickly ran to the library.
Everyone else was already there.
Kokichi and Shuichi made their way through to see who passed away.
...
And there lied Rantaro's dead body.
