Appearance - Artemis is a half-Caucasian and half-Vietnamese, teenage girl of average height. She has olive-toned dealing with long thick blond hair and dark blue eyes. Artemis is slender in stature, yet has an athletic build. She had her hair down to her waist, which she often kept tied back in a ponytail, both in vigilante and civilian garb.
Clothing - (Shadowhunter/kunoichi clothing) - Artemis' Shadowhunter uniform was of midriff-baring that highlighted her build. It was colored in various of blue and consisted of a mask extending from the hairline to the cheekbones, a sleeveless top with her emblem on the front, fingerless gloves, pants with black knee pads and black combat boots. She had a black utility belt and pouch strapped on her left leg that were likely filled with assorted tools. Artemis carried a quiver along her back with a bow and multitude of multi-purpose arrows. Her uniform was apparently changed over the years since she left the bandit tribe and way before she joined the Residence.
(Casual clothing) - Artemis wears a white tie neck cold shoulder rib crop top, dark blue jeans and black boots with high heeled and shoelaces. She also wears a small arrow pendant on a silver chain and thin silver earrings.
Personality - During her adolescent years, Artemis' personality was product of her unusual upbringing. In the kill-or-be-killed culture in which her guardian and a mentor raised her after she has been adopted since her actual parents are unknown, Artemis had to constantly fight for her life, resulting in her confrontational nature and willingness to solve problems with force. She was also protective of her secrets and constantly lied to her friends out of fear of being discovered as the adoptive child of the bandits and thieves.
Due of being raised by her adoptive parents that one of them is a human and one of them is a faunus and knows what's the right and the wrongs of humans, faunus and any species, she defends them. She even defends Nari.
For the most part, Artemis is a very passionate and opinionated girl. Always ready with a witty and biting remark, she is intent on proving herself to anyone who questions her. Artemis cares deeply for her friends and family and strives to be a hero, despite being raised by her former cutthroat mentor.

Biography/history -
Artemis J. Thatch was born but becoming an orphan since her parents abandoned her at the orphanage for unknown reasons. Yin Branwen is the leader of the Branwen tribe and found Artemis and found out of her true potential before deciding to adopted her.
Sonya and Milo both loves Artemis and raised her as their daughter, just as they both loves Laura, despite of them being a couple humans, while Sonya is a tiger faunuswhile her husband is a human.
Yin trained Artemis to follow in her footsteps. Her training was brutal, though some people of the tribe, Sonya and Milo would sometimes attempt to defend her.
Sonya trained Artemis to use a bow as her primarily weapon and frequently subjected her to apparently criminal tests, while Milo taught Artemis how to read and write. The nature of most of these tests have not been specified, although while robbed of her memory, Artemis suggested one such test could involve being forced to kill someone by Yin.
When Yin had a meeting to spoken private with her men. She stated that Yin decided to sacrifice Artemis since Yin chose her to be a sacrifice by becoming a Spring Maiden in order to get the gem and wanted to get more gems and that includes getting rid of the hollows. Unbeknownst to her and her men, their conversation was overheard by Milo and Sonya, who then they took Artemis, ran away from the tribe and escaped into a different place as their home but also to hide from the tribe and in her blue vigilante uniform to fight crime.
