A/n: Seems like I can only update once in a week from now on. My work is taking too much of my braincells. Lol ^^ TT
PS: Comment down your reactions below. I can't wait to read them.
---I liked drinking coffee in the morning.
But despite my love for caffeine, I had never in my entire life consumed two cups in one sitting—until now. Sipping the last drops from the second plastic cup of iced americano, I set the empty bottle on the table in front of me and sat up straight. I wanted to lean back in the chair, but I felt like the liquid might backflow if I did, so I refrained.
My eyes drifted to the two empty cups in front of me, and I couldn't help but sigh. Pin must have noticed because she suddenly took the empty chair beside me. "You know you don't have to drink them all," she said, referring to the coffees. "Praewa's not around. You can either give or throw them away. I'm pretty sure she didn't mean what she said earlier anyway."
I quickly shook my head. "You know I can't do that," I told her. "And she does mean it." I added.
Pin chatted with me for a while after that. She only left when the assistant director called her for the rehearsal of a scene, she was part of. We were currently shooting for our series, and Pin, along with our other members, had been cast. Well, except for Atom, who was already shooting for a different series she had been cast in prior to ours.
I stood up from my chair and grabbed the empty cups to throw them away. The names on the cups annoyed me, so I crumpled them before shoving them in the bin. If only the barista hadn't put my name on both coffee cups, Praewa might have accepted them.
Then again, she would probably have found a different excuse just so she didn't have to accept them. So, I guess it didn't matter? I could only sigh.
It had been two weeks since we started shooting for the series and two weeks since the night I confessed to her. Though Praewa remained professional with me on set, she was as cold as ice whenever we were alone or with the girls.
The members already knew what had happened and had decided not to meddle. But some of them showed support to Praewa only, which I understood. I had been a jerk to Praewa back then, and I... well, no use regretting everything again.
I had promised to woo her until I caught up with her, and I was determined to do so, no matter how long it took.
"If you think that these things will make me give up, Praewa, then you're mistaken," I mumbled to myself before sitting back in my chair and re-reading my script one more time.
---Time flies fast when you're working.
Despite my busy schedule, I still found time to prepare gifts for Praewa. And for tomorrow, I planned to make her lunch.
To be honest, I am scared. I am very aware that I am not a good cook. Well, I did cook for myself, but the meals were only edible, not delicious. Some dishes were, but those instances were so rare.
However, I had heard from Ms. Pram that cooking for the people you love shows sincerity and purity. She agreed to that because that's how her brother-in-law managed to marry her sister. The man had cooked for her while courting her, and that's how her sister knew his love was sincere and pure.
So, when I heard that, I decided right away to do the same.
Most of the time, my gifts were often thrown away or given to others, but I would make sure Praewa accepted and ate them this time. Because I was cooking it only for her to eat.
