A/N ( 18/07/2024) :
Hello dear readers ! I just wanted to say, thank you to all that read this far. At the time I write these words, I have 12 « unique readers » in my French version and 15 in my English one, so a big thanks to this 15, especially Shadow-Lynx37 who liked ( almost ) all chapters !!!
I don't really know whether the people reading are reading because they genuinely like the story, because they kinda like it and read in hope that it will improve or only read to kill the time, but if you like it don't hesitate to, well, like it 😂. And whether you like it or not, don't hesitate to leave questions or comments, even if it's to tell me that my English is wonky ( except if it's to leave hateful comments, it never happened to me so far but I heard that some people do it so... Peace and Love ? 😇😅)
Anyway, since no one left any comment so far, I don't really know what you think of this story so I wanted to explain a couple of things. If you're bored, don't hesitate to skip the author note 😁
1 :
I think it's obvious that the story doesn't really follow mha's normal plot - well, that's the purpose of a fanfic after all - but I wanted to precise that I'm trying really hard to keep the characters as close to the « real » ones as possible. I read many fanfics, some awesome, where the characters had personalities really far from those of the « real » characters, and even though it can make some great stories I sometime find it disappointing. Like a Izuku who suddenly become a genius, or badass or even cruel with no apparent reason. It isn't really Izuku any longer, is it ?
So, juste to say that, even though they will evolve differently than in the anime since the world around them is also different, I'll try to keep their evolution as « natural » as possible, and I hope you'll be able to tell me whether it worked or not 🙂
2 :
There are many fanfics in which All Might is somme sort of overgrown brainless monkey or arrogant villain full of himself. So, yes the « real » AM can sometime be stupid, especially when trying to teach something or transforming in the middle of the crowd, yes he should never have left Izuku on this roof after crushing his dreams, yes he is a bit of an hypocrite and it is possible that because of him Izuku assimilated his worth as a human to his control of his quirk, and yes he might possibly do more damage than necessary when fighting.
BUT, he drops everything just to catch the balloon of a crying kid, he won't hesitate to block a nearly deadly attack to protect a civilian in danger, he has great control for someone who could flatten a few buildings by simply MOVING, and he genuinely cares about his students. He is learning too. Plus, even though he does seem to enjoy being in the spotlight, it's kinda his role as the symbol of peace. He could be some mysterious force in the background like Eraser, but even though it might still scare the vilains it probably wouldn't be as much, and there is a chance that he would also scare the "public" 😅.
So, even though Kita kinda destroyed him in a previous chapter, the chapter following this note is here to show his view of the situation, to allow you to better understand him.
Have a nice time reading 😁!!!
Toshinori Yagi's POV
We were Sunday the 9th, on April, and I was patiently waiting for the Badges' Competition's agents to repair the room for the Power test. I felt a drop of sweat pearling on my temple upon seeing the exhausted look on their faces. Maybe I should have held back a bit.
