Third Person

Today was the two families last day in Málaga, before they all flew back home.

They were going on a hike, and there was supposedly some really good views at the top of the hills.

The downside of today is that it was 34 degrees.

📍The Villa
⏰ 10:20am
Maddie's pov

I woke up later than usual. I walked into my bathroom, grabbed a tree hut exfoliater, a banana hair mask and turned my shower on.

Whilst i waited for the water to heat up, i washed my face and cleaned my bathroom up a bit, grabbing a towel and my dressing gown before stepping in and showering.

Afterwards i was getting ready in my room when my door opened and Cris was standing there, leaning against the doorframe,

"can i have my hoodie back?" he asked,

"umm yeah its over there" i clipped the back onto my earring and pointed to the armchair in the corner of the room.

"just hand me it" he rolled his eyes, "fine." i snapped and picked up the hoodie, handing it to him and closing the door on his face.

An hour later we were all leaving for the hike, during breakfast i had attempted to have a conversation with Cris but he just ignored me. so i chose to ignore him back.

We all climbed into the two cars and set off, it was roughly a ten minute drive from our villa.

📍The Hike
⏰ 11:32am
Cris' pov

We arrived at the hiking trail and set off, the air was very humid so everyone wore minimal, and breathable clothing,
I wore black nike shorts, a neon orange top and white air force. Mads was wearing tiny black gym shorts, a red cropped top and red converse.

She looked good in it i cant lie.

20 minutes later

"This is my life now. i have climbed this hill, and now i shall die upon it" Maddie caught her breath and chugged her water like she had been refused water for a week.

"shut up. We've only been hiking for 20 minutes" i rolled my eyes and replied with attitude in my voice, trying to sound as pissed off and annoyed as i could.

The hike started off, simple and easy, like a regular hike, everyone was happy, calm and enjoying the nature.

...Then we reached the half way point.

These are the kind of situations where i need a bucket of ice water...

Eva and Cali were moaning and whining constantly about their legs aching, i was sweating so much, and Geo looked exhausted having to push Bella's stroller up the hill, i felt bad for her and plus there was flies everywhere. It wasn't exactly the kind of hike we were expecting.

Maddie's pov

Cris had been giving me dirty looks all day and all of last night, i have no idea why though, he was being such a jerk.

Whenever i tried to talk to him, all i received was one word answers or absolutely nothing.

He was being a little bitch.

I chose to ignore his stupid antics and try my best to enjoy this horrendous hike.

"Cris, do you have any water left?, i don't have any" i walked closer to him,

he looked at me and looked at the ground, "no" he rolled his eyes in disgust.

"what is wrong with you"

"nothing is wrong with me" he scoffed, i sarcastically hummed in response and walked away.

I sighed and looked over at him from where i was walking, and to think that we almost kissed just a day ago is crazy to me.

I cant lie it did hurt having him ignore me like this, but maybe this is what happens when you get too close with the person you hate the most.

It's like... enemies to friends, back to enemies.

We finally reached the top after a silent hike, nobody was really talking because if there was someone yapping constantly, then someone was bound to go insane and start screaming, telling everyone to shut up because their too hot and irritated.

We all just stood, taking in the breathtaking views and realising we have to do it all again, but at least it was downhill right?

I looked over to Cris, who stood distanced from everyone else, on his phone. I had finally had enough of his childishness and stubbornness.

I marched right over to him, "can i talk to you" i crossed my arms and stood before him, "yeah what is it?" he mumbled, putting his phone down,

i took a deep breath and opened my mouth to say, "why are you shutting me out and giving me dirty looks constantly, i haven't done anything to you, what is wrong Cris"

"you wanna know the real reason Maddie" he raised an eyebrow,

"yes i do" i replied snarking,

"i can't stand you, yet i can't stand being away from you" he blurted out,

"what are you saying?" i uncrossed my arms,

"are you really so oblivious?" he sighed,

"Maddie, i really like you, you're all that i think about now, i'm supposed to hate, but fuck that enemy shit" he made eye contact with me,

i looked into his eyes, i tried to speak but i couldn't, all i could do was kiss him. Thats what i did. I wasn't even thinking.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, luckily we were further away from our families so they didn't see.

"Maddie i really like you" he mumbled against my lips,

"I really like you too" i whispered, our lips collided again...
