Look At Me (Taehyun fanfic)

We head to the car and see the boys standing outside with worried expressions. Huening Kai is the first one to spot us and then the other two do too.

"How'd it go?", Taehyun asks us and all three look at us with big wide eyes wondering what Nora and I got.

"Both did great",Soobin says making the three boys sigh relieved.

"Yeonha topped in her grade", Nora says and the faced of three immediately lighten up. Taehyun immediately scoots closer to me and picks me up spinning me round and round.

"GOOD JOB YEONIE~. I KNEW YOU'D NAIL IT", he shouts excitedly and for a moment I almost forget that I'm supposed to be ignoring him. He gets me down as I try to stand straight on my feet.

"Thanks", Is all I say to Taehyun. My eyes wander to Beomgyu who seems to be wanting to say something.

"Congratulations Yeee", Beomgyu says and I smile widely as a response. He looks very happy. He's happy for me.

"Gyu", I call him and motion him to scoot closer.

"What?", He asks.

"I wanna tell you something", I say and his expression changes. He takes me by arm gently and we make our away from the others.

"Go on", He says when we are at a distance.

"I-- What I wanna say is that", I take a deep breath. It will be alright. I keep on telling myself it's fine.

"I like you", I confess and his expression changes to pity. Am I gonna get rejected? I ask myself. My heart beating fast due to suspension. I want the ground to engulf me. Did I just dig my own grave?

"I have a girlfriend", He slowly says and those words stab my heart and tear it apart into million pieces that are scattered here and there with no one to glue them back.

"But Yeonjun knew and he didn't -", He doesn't let me continue and puts his hands on my shoulders stopping me from completely breaking down.

"They don't know about this. No one knows", He says and I free myself from his grip. I start to walk away but stop when he start speaking again.

"Someone else loves you dearly. Give him a chance", He says and Taehyun's face pops up in my mind. I take a glance at the guys and spot Taehyun staring while the others were busy having fun. He had a hurt expression on. I did not only hurt myself but also him. Carrying this burden I just run away but not to my brother or the guys but away from the car. Wherever my feet lead me.

"YEONHA. WAIT. COME BACK", I hear Beomgyu shout. I glance behind me and see Yeonjun running away from others who later realise what's going on and start running aswell abandoning the cat and coming behind me. I just keep on running until I find a small alley. I turn towards it and hide myself there. I fall down on the floor.

"WHERE ARE YOU YEONHA?", Yeonjun shouts from a distance as I can sense him crying from his voice. I peek a bit and see Yeonjun running to another direction.
