CHAPTER 28

From Cole who treats Aiah like his queen, Cole sometimes hits Aiah lalo na kapag mainit ang ulo nito. Si Cole din ang nasusunod sa lahat ng bagay, Aiah wanted to pursue graduate school in Legal Management but Cole told her to focus on the hotel instead.

Aiah runaway from Cole, she walks alone in the street crying and doesn't looking wether she's on the sidewalk or wala na. She was about to cross the road when a car almost hitted her.

Nabalik lang siya sa ulirat when she heard the loud honk at her.

"What the fuck is your problem Miss mag papakamatay ka ba?!" galit na sabi ng driver nito.

Aiah faced the driver to apologize, "S-sorry..." Aiah said while crying.

"Aiah...?" the driver said as he looked at the woman he almost hit.

"G-Gian..?" Aiah said in surprise.

"What are you doing here alone? Gabing gabi na ah?" Gian said as he approached Aiah.

"C-cole and I had a fight. I walked away from him." Aiah said while crying.

"Come with me. Ihahatid na kita sa inyo." Gian said and guided Aiah pasakay ng sasakyan niya.

"Gi can I stay at your place? Baka kasi nandoon si Cole sa condo ko. I don't want to see him." Aiah said in between his sobs.

"Sure, no problem at all. Basta safe ka." Gian said.

Gian took Aiah to his place and they reached his condo in no time.

"Aiah sorry kung medyo makalat ha I just got back from Spain. I took a vacation eh." Gian said at tinanggal ang mga nakaharang sa daan.

"Gi I should be the one to ashamed. Ngayon nalang tayo ulit nag kita tapos ganito pa situation ko." Aiah said shyly.

"Aiah we've been friends since college. Walang nag bago dun." Gian said then smiled.

"Have you eaten dinner already? I'll order some food." Gian added.

"No Gi thank you. I already had dinner earlier." Aiah said politely.

"Sure? Hmm ice cream? To make you feel alright. I know that can help." Gi said.

Aiah smiled then nodded, "thank you Gian. I owe you one."

"You don't owe me anything Aiah." Gian said then smiled.

Gian ordered the food and catch up with Aiah while waiting for it to come.

"So what happened to you and Cole? Okay naman kayo dati ah?" Gian said.

"Oh sorry, okay lang ba mag tanong?" Gian added.

"No Gi it's alright. Actually kahit ako nag tataka bakit biglang nag iba yung ugali niya eh." Aiah said.

"I'm sure he have his reasons pero he doesn't have the rights to hurt you like that. Hinayaan ka ba namang mag lakad sa gitna ng daan ng ganitong oras." Gian said.

"He's not hearing me out. Always shutting me down. Wala na kaming healthy communication." Aiah said while tearing up again.

"He's shutting me off in his life eh. Iniisip ko baka stress lang siya kasi parang walang nangyayari sa career niya. Pero I am here for him. Hindi niya ako nakikita." Aiah said at hindi na napigilan nito ang iyak.

Gian went closer to give his friend a hug.

"Sorry Aiah." Gian said at hinimas-himas ang likod ng kaibigan nito.

"Yung physical na sakit kaya ko pa pero yung emotional pain? I don't know kung hanggang kailan ko pa kakayanin." Aiah said in between her sobs.

"What do you mean? He's hurting you?" gulat na tanong ni Gian dito.
