Okay, listen to the girls voice, now imagine what this Rosie's voice sounds like...It... matches the voice in the song.
Like exactly!  DANG.
(Also the story line? Being trapped in a nightmare? Pretty fitting if you ask me.....)

Anywho, to the story!

I sat in the parlor of my parents house, trying with everything I had not to hurl all over their carpet.
A wedding, that's what we were talking about. My wedding in particular.
I sat on the couch next to Richard, who's hand was heavily set on my waist, as if a constant reminder that I was his.
Grinding my teeth, I tried to think of something happy so I wouldn't kill something.
I thought to Alastor's soft kiss on my cheek, and I almost squealed at just the thought.
I had sat in his tower for maybe... thirty minutes?
Just sitting there overthinking about if it meant anything.
If it did, would my mother be ashamed that I was even thinking about loving another person other than Richard? Yes, yes she would.
But.... BUT!
This was Alastor, as long as it was him, I wouldn't really care what my mother thought.
Pain brought me out of my thoughts as Richard dug his fingers into my waist. "Rosie darling, weren't you listening?" he said through clenched teeth.
I winced for only a second. "Sorry dear, just thinking, what was the question?"
My mother's eyes flashed between us before she smiled. "We were talking about where you two wanted to have it."
I faked a smile. "Oh... outside maybe? I've always loved the outdoors."
Richard squeezed me again. "Outside darling? It's filthy out there."
The message was clear, No
But I wasn't going to give up on the only thing I had control over. "It's not filthy Richard, it's beautiful."
Something passed over his face, as if he was going to hit me, but then realized my parents were in the room. " Rosie my sweet, I still don't think-"
Bless my mother for interrupting him. "Why Not Richard? It sounds like a fine idea! A morning wedding outside? It would be beautiful and unique!"
I silently thanked her as Richard stiffly agreed.
We continued to talk about decorations and people to invite.
But eventually my miracle ended and we had to leave.
Richard squeezed my hand painfully as we walked down the sidewalk. "I don't ever want to see that attitude again, understand?"
I tried not to yelp, and nodded.
He smiled and leaned over to kiss my neck. "Wonderful."
I walked in misery and in silence as we walked past fifth street.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the iconic chocolate hair and deep skin to know it was Alastor.
Without even thinking about it, I yanked my hand out of Richards and spun around, running to him. "Alastor!"
The man jumped. He literally jumped a foot in the air. "Rosie! Why do you fell the need to do that?"
I smiled and laughed as I again, picked up all his things off the ground. "It's just bad timing, sorry."
Alastor smiled and took his things from me. "Well, I suppose it's nice to see you."
I folded my hands behind my back. "I suppose it's good to see you to."
We shared a smile and both laughed.
A slight red hue dusted his cheeks as he scratched the back of his neck. "Rosie, about the other day.... I-"
I felt an arm firmly wrap around my waist, and start dragging me away. "Rosie, you know you shouldn't talk to those freaks, don't you?"
I resisted the urge to punch Richard in the face for ruining the moment as I struggled to stay where I was standing. "He's a friend, let me be."
Alastor's eyes hardened. "Let the woman go, she has a right just like the rest of us."
Richard rolled his eyes and finally let me stay still, but didn't let me go. "No, they don't. They are meant to follow men wherever we go, but fine. Who are you to even speak to me?"
Oh great! Now I would have to stand there and watch as Richard became the most racist being in New Orleans.
Alastor sighed. "Alastor, Rosie and I know each other in passing."
Richard narrowed his eyes at me. "In passing you say? You disappeared until very late that one night, are you sure it's just passing."
My face went red at the thought, but somehow Al managed to keep his composure. "I assure you good sir, only in passing."
My finace huffed, as if mad that he wouldn't get to beat me later over some scandal.
He did however dig his finger into my lower back for being even slightly involved with another male human being.
Richard again, started dragging me away. "Well, we have to go, so goodbye."
Al caught my arm. "Tea? Tomorrow at noon?"
I smiled. "Yes, that would be lovely."
Richard looked disgusted by the exchange, and pulled me away. "I will let you go, but you must be back by two o'clock on the dot, otherwise you will be sorry."
I gulped, but nodded. "Of course."
And for my sake, I tried to promise myself, and silently promise Richard, that I would not get romantically involved with Alastor.
I hoped.

Sorry for the wait :(
