CHAPTER 33

Nakasubaybay naman si Marshal sa lahat ng larong nilaro ni Mikhs noong kolehiyo pa ito hanggang sa maging team analyst na ito sa ibang bansa. He looks forward in building the greatest team in the Philippines para makabawi ang koponan sa mga malalaking liga sa mundo.

Mikhs is currently wearing a white long sleeve polo, paired with a navy blue striped neck tie, navy blue coat and trousers, with brown oxfords shoes. He wanted to keep it light and elegant at the same time.

He get his keys at sumakay na sa pulang sasakyan nito, he first check the address na ibinigay ni Marshal sa kanya bago ito mag maneho.

Mikhs arrived at the hotel at agad na binati ito ng valet. He surrendered his car to the valet and at the lobby he saw his Ninong Marshal.

"Hey ninong..." bati ni Mikhael dito nang nakangiti.

"Look at this fine gentleman right here. You're looking dapper ha." Marshal said at nakipag shakehands kay Mikhael.

"You look young and fine din ninong, seems like hindi ka tumatanda." Mikhael said jokingly.

"Ikaw talaga. Anyways Mikhael, sorry if this is a sudden news hijo but we have a shift of responsibilities na ibibigay sayo." Marshal said at inakbayan si Mikhael.

"What is it tito? I am willing to take any responsibilities po na ibibigay niyo sa akin." Mikhael said.

"Hijo our CEO Nathan Wu was fired. I fired him because I heard and proved na he is involved in illegal activities. With that I would like to assign you as a replacement." Marshal said.

"P-po? A-ako?" gulat na tanong ni Mikhs dito.

"I know I can trust you with this Mikhs. I know your works and your dedication so.... Would you accept the offer or not?" Marshal said while looking at Mikhael. He handed his hand waiting for a shake hands.

Mikhs accepted the handshake and they both smiled at each other.

"Great biglaang CEO duty." Mikhs said in his thoughts.

"Sir, Mr. Vergara is waiting for you inside." Aya naman ng isang body guard sa mga ito.

"Wait? Did I heard the right name? Vergara?" tanong ni Mikhs sa isip nito.

"Shall we CEO Lim?" pag anyaya ni Marshal dito.

Mikhs smiled at sabay silang pumasok sa resto. They are guided papunta sa exclusive private room ng hotel restaurant. Halatang mga matataas na antas lang ng tao ang nakakapasok dito.

As they entered the room, Mikhs saw a familiar face. His friend and now future enemy.

"Mikhael?" takang tanong ni Cole nang makita niya itong pumasok.

"Cole?" Mikhs replied with confusion as well.

"Kilala niyo isa't isa?" takang tanong din ni Marshal sa mga ito.

"S-sorry sir, yes. We've known each other since college. Uh gentlemen have a seat." Cole said.

Para namang binuhusan ng malamig na tubig si Cole nang makita si Mikhael. He knows laundering money from the Athlux will be a hard work for him.

Cole is sweating without him noticing it napapalunok na rin ito sa kaba na para bang mag dedefend ito ng thesis sa mga terror na professor niya.

"Mr. Vergara are you still with us?" tanong ni Marshal dito na siya namang nakapag balik kay Cole sa realidad.

"S-sorry sir what was it again?" Cole said at halatang sobrang distracted nito.

"As I was saying to formally introduce to you, Mikhael will be the new CEO of Athlux kayong dalawa ang mag-uusap about sa mga future transactions natin if ever you got the deal." Marshal said.
