Chapter 11

"To be fair, Megatron and I are large mechs...and Megatron is larger than myself, so it makes sense for you to be a large sparkling. I had once suspected you'll be a bit taller than Arcee when you are fully grown, but now I am not so sure. I think you'll actually rival myself or Megatron." Azura was amused as she could definitely see that happening. Optimus was smiling as he thought of the future, even though he hoped that the war will be over by than. "It will be many years before you will even reach that point, but I can definitely see it."

"I guess we shall see. Especially since I also have the dragon's DNA in my system as well. And, from what I understand, she was much bigger than the Primes that banished Unicron." Optimus was not sure how much would impact Azura's adult size, but she could be right about that. Optimus believed her dragon form would be very large when she is fully grown. "I am looking forward to receiving my armor officially as well."

"As am I. It will be a very fun time. Ratchet and I will work on them after your rebirth. You'll be big enough and ready for them sometime after. Especially since you will be able to transform." And she will be able to transform without anything controlling her this time, and Optimus was happy about that. He hummed as he reached around to rub his back in an attempt to massage it as best as he could. "And by than, you'll be able to think of the colours you want for yourself. Only our protoforms really reflect our parents."

"Yeah...you said I have your face, is that true?"

"Yes, the shape of your face resembles mine. But if you are curious about what is closer to Megatron, your shoulders definitely took after Megatron." Azura did wonder how it was possible to distinguish that between the bots. But she guessed that it was easier for Cybertronians to know what part of their sparklings resembled the parents since they had a different structure than a human. "Megatron's shoulder joints have a strong, thick integrity that is broader than my own shoulder joints. I think for you it is necessary, given your dragon form. I am sure it fascinates you a bit knowing that we can see that about a sparkling, but that is just how Cybertronians can distinguish their sparklings. I do believe you too more after me than him, but that is likely due to the Matrix and the fact your spark survived that my CNA was able to bind and form your spark." Optimus sighed as he rolled his shoulders and Azura heard a loud hiss as hydraulics relaxed within Optimus's body and released pressure that was causing discomfort. "Your suggestion for the shower has been a good idea. I think I might be here longer than I am normally."

Azura smiled and listened intently, and she could just faintly hear the sound of the water spray hitting Optimus's body. "So long as nobody calls you through the com link about something, you could be here for hours." As Azura listened to the sound of the water hitting Optimus's body, it was a calming sound and she focused on it to the point she began to feel herself drift, which startled her. Optimus frowned a little when he felt her jerk suddenly. "Oh...I feel like I'm going to drift into recharge listening to the water...it's nice, but I don't want to recharge..."

Optimus sighed as he listened to Azura. He understood her fear, but knowing she would fall into recharge due to listening to the water was a good thing. He couldn't force her though. "I cannot force you to recharge, Azura. But I will encourage you to not ignore what your body needs. If you need to recharge, just do it, Azura. You'll only hurt yourself if you fight the need. You'll be fine, Azura."

Azura shifted as she was feeling frustrated at herself for trying to fall asleep. She did also know that Optimus was right that she was still feeling very tired. And unfortunately, she had to recharge again at some point. But she still feared finding herself in an endless dream. She couldn't really stop listening to the water though as Optimus was still in the shower, and she wanted him to feel some relief of the discomfort he was experiencing while carrying her. It wouldn't be right to suggest it than to ask him to stop.
