When All Lights Go Out II (TFP)

"UNO!" Miko shouted excitedly after placing a yellow five onto the card pile in front of her on the table. Azura smirked at Miko as she was holding four cards in her own hand. "Let's see if you can stop me from winning this time, Azura. You plus foured me twice already, so what else do you have?"

Azura giggled at Miko as she looked at the cards in her hand. She had a yellow plus two in her hand that she knew she could use, but she did not know what color card Miko had in her hand. She also could have a wild card, so Azura could really only use one card. She had a green three, green four and a yellow one as well, so they weren't very useful. "I do have this one..." She placed the plus two on the top of the pile and Miko huffed in amusement as she picked up two cards. "I cannot let you win."

Miko giggled as she looked at her cards. "Well, you never know, Azura. I only picked up two cards, not four."

Azura giggled softly as well while picking up a card herself to find a yellow one and she placed it on the pile. "Yeah, but I also had a few cards left as well, Miko. So I also have a chance of winning."

"You both have been at just the first game for the last hour," Ratchet commented as he had watched the two play after Miko and Azura told him how Uno was played, but the medic wasn't very fascinated by it. "When you told me how it works, I thought you would have already had more than a few rounds by now. I did not realize that it actually would take longer than that."

"It can go for quite a while, Ratchet. It just depends on what cards we have. At least it isn't monopoly." Miko picked up a card from the deck, and she sighed, picking up another and placing down a yellow two. "I don't have any other yellow cards."

"Nor do I." Azura grabbed another card and she smiled when she picked up a wild card. "Time to change it to green anyway."

"Green, huh? Thank you." Miko put down a green five and Azura put a green three down. "I am almost at Uno again."

"Well..." Azura placed her green four down with a smile. "Uno!" Miko rolled her eyes at her. "Now it is your turn to pull a reverse card."

"Or..." Miko placed a yellow four down. "Uno for me too!" She giggled and Azura's smirk widened. "If you had all greens then..." Azura placed her yellow one down and folded her arms proudly. Miko was surprised and she sighed in amusement. "I guess I should have thought of that before putting it down..." She huffed in amusement as she placed her card down and picked them up to shuffle. "Good job. Round one is yours."

Azura giggled as she was happy about it. "It sure is." She glanced at the bridge for a moment and looked at Ratchet. "How long do think they will be, Ratchet?"

"An hour is not that long, Azura. I am not aware of what they are doing, but I can tell you that they are fine. Optimus has not sent any message of what is happening, so I don't think it will be a cause for concern." Azura just nodded as she understood while Ratchet was amused. "You already know Optimus will be fine. Your carrier has to face a lot worse before I am concerned about the events that are occurring on the other side of the bridge."

"I know...I guess...I wasn't expecting a mission to come about so soon."

"With how things roll around here, it actually seems pretty normal to me. Especially since Optimus has been cleared for action since the birth. I can't help but feel glad that I will never have kids, since it can take months for a woman to recover from birth. Unless..." Miko looked at Ratchet curiously. "A natural birth takes longer to recover."

Ratchet smiled at Miko. "No, not really. A mech or femme would recover quicker, if I am honest." Miko didn't really react other than with a shrug as she was not surprised. "The main reason why I had Optimus remain was due to the additional damage to his system from the Mech weapons, not so much the birth. He was already recovered from it days afterward. I simply had him wait until I was certain he was recovered from the rest of his injuries."
