BREAKING BOUNDARIES ?

CHAPTER 1

"I'm okay, it's fine" she said Cooley but Marissa  is holding her breath not to laugh loudly

"Are you sure? I'm sorry, it was me who made the ball hit you. i-i d-didn't mean to hurt you" Faye Malisorn is saying sorry in front of a lot of people. Even her captain couldn't believe it.

"I-its fine senior" Yoko was shock. Because she's well aware that Faye is not the type of a person to say sorry or gives attention to anyone

"Here let me help you" Faye held her hand and she felt something for sure,  something that it's impossible for her ignore. The way their hand touched, it was something she never felt before and she's willing to discover.

Yoko couldn't sleep well after what happened inside the court after the game. And it's almost been a week and she can't wait to see and play with Faye.
They will be playing for the upcoming game on Saturday and she couldn't wait anymore.
It's one of her list, to play with Faye. But they are going to be a rival so she needs to focus.

"What are you doing ky?" (KY is short for Yoko)Marissa came with ice cream

"Just reviewing my homework just Incase it's not complete yet." She's always inside their classroom sitting on the chair and writing

"Oh I see. But, that's not our homework" she said scratching her head

"what?" Yoko look down at her notebook and panicked. She hurriedly close it and snatch the ice cream from her best friend

"Until when are you gonna keep it from me ?" Marissa  asks her seriously

" I-its nothing serious ris"  she said bowing her head while eating

"Yes it is. Do you think I'm dumb?  I knew you liked her since we were like grade 3 or 4 ?"  her friend said worrying

"I know but-"

"No, you don't know" Marissa  cuts her off

"It's hard you know" she said

"What's hard? Please tell me, I'm your best friend " Marissa genuinely cares for her

"I can't like a girls ris. I don't want to disappoint my sisters and brother.  Especially my parents. They all believe that I'm not a lesbian and when they knew about Folk they were like "finally you have a boyfriend" so how can I come out?" she said with a hint of sadness

"Of course you can't like girls because you can only have one dummy!"

"I don't know what to do " yoko replied

"I thought you're Smart? But you're actually dumb when it comes to this. How can you live like that? Your Family doesn't own you okay and for the record, Loving the same gender do not define who you are as a person. If loving an amazing person is a sin, then be a sinner." Marissa said with confidence

Yoko was dumbstruck, she could not believe everything that Marissa had said. She's always been so scared to what her family would say about her, she doesn't want to disappoint them.

"Thank you ris"  She pats her friends hand

"No, you have to buy me another ice cream you monster eater! " Marissa  playfully hit her

"Okay okay! let's go!" Yoko laughed after a long time

That Friday night Yoko called her mother, she's the only person whom she trust the most.  Her mother supports her with everything and she's a cool mom.
"Hi ma, how are you?" She looks at her mother

"I'm fine dear but I should be the one to ask you that. How are you? are you studying well while enjoying your life?" Her mother smiles warmly

"I'm good ma. And by the way, we have a game tomorrow. We'll be playing with that girl I told you. You know her" Yoko scratch her cheek because she's shy

"oh, That student your always waiting when dismissal? Do you still like her? It's been 6 years already dear and she's probably have someone right now" her mother said with worry

"I know ma but when I saw her again, I feel like my feelings all went back. Actually, I never felt like this with anyone before" she said truthfully

"Even with Folk? nothing?" her mom asked

"You told me before that when the time comes that if I ever fall in love with someone, I would feel butterflies in my stomach. But not even a caterpillar went inside whenever i see him or when I'm with him ma." She said lowering her head

"I understand, look at me dear. " yoko looked at her mother. "You know you can take your time when it comes to your own feelings, I want you to enjoy your life first. Take your time to get to know this person and when you still like her then, it's your decision to make" Her mother said with calmness "Your still young dear, you need to enjoy first." her mother said

"Thank you mama, I knew you'd understand me. I love you the most!" yoko is feeling lighter

"I got you dear. I'm Always here" her mother winked

Yoko ended the call and get ready to sleep, but her body doesn't seems to find peace knowing that she's going to meet her long time crush again tomorrow.

"I need to focus. I need to do well tomorrow, I need to get her attention." Yoko closed her eyes while trying to sleep

It's already 10am but Faye is still lying on her bed spacing out. She picks up her phone and call Melanie her girlfriend.
"Hello Mel, don't forget I have a game later at 6:30 okay?" she reminded her lazily

"I know I know. I'll see you there!" Melanie smirks and roll her eyes

"Okay." she ended the call and went back to sleep but her phone rings

"Dude wake up or I'll beat your ass!" Lux said on the other line

"What?! it's only 10am idiot, give me a break!" she said annoyingly

"But we have to go early at Cap's place for lunch and have time to relax before the game later so get your ass up now!" Lux ended the call while grinning

"uggh!! I'm still sleepy" Faye doesn't have a choice but to get up

She took a bath and went to her Captain's house. When she arrives, they are all eating and having fun. She parks her motorcycle and went inside and greets the parents of her captain.
"Good day Ma'am , Sir." she said politely

"Hello dear please come in." the mother invited her

"Thanks auntie"

"How have you been kiddo?" the father asks her and they did a fist bump

"I am doing good with my life, I guess?" they laughed together

The team were relaxed and in a perfect condition. It's already 5pm when they arrived and the first game just getting started.
They entered the court and settled down, as usual a lot of people were looking at them.
A lot of people were admiring them while the others were jealous of them.
"Yo! They are staring at you again" Lux said to her friend

"Staring who ?" Shes busy with her phone

"That cute girl from the PRNCS WARRIORS and her friend"

"Oh, let them be. They'll get tired anyway" she said with no interest

"Ohhhh. You're not interested now?"

"I was never." she said with a period
