"Iyamu! Wait up! I have something to tell you!" I heard a voice from behind. I turned around to see Kita-san looking at me as he tried to catch up. He ran towards me and panted. "It's our last year in high school...and I want to spend it with you!"
I blushed as Kita told me this, and our eyes interlocked. We stared into each other's eyes and began to lean in. His hands interlocked with mine. He got closer as our noses touched and...
RINGGGGGGGGGGGG
I woke up startled, and my eyes opened up. I look around to see myself in my bedroom. I look down to see the lip mask I wore yesterday, covered on my pillow. How embarrassing! I was making out with my pillow when I thought it was Shinsuke Kita's...I bet his lips were softer, though. I looked around the room once more, making sure no one saw that since my brothers, Atsumu and Osamu, would DEFINITELY make fun of me for it. I sighed in relief as I realized they were still asleep in their rooms.
I stretched as I let out a big groan and got out of bed. My brothers and I lived alone together as the oldest, I was responsible for the two of them. And they are a big handful. I went into their rooms where they had their bunkbed and rolled my eyes when I saw them still asleep.
"Wake up, rats! It's the first day of school," I yawned.
"First day, and you still got no bitches" Osamu says from his bed as he still had his eyes closed. I pouted as I threw a stuffed animal at him.
"Maybe I would have had one if you two don't keep embarrassing me all the time. Like telling every guy I speak to that I have a rash on my ass which I don't. My butt is softer than a baby's butt," I say with pride and with my hands on my hips. Atsumu and Osamu laughed at that as they began to wake up.
"Excuses..." Atsumu says, yawning.
"Excuses?! Its not only that you embarrass me, you just don't like any guys that flirt with me either," I huffed.
"Even if that's the case...before we even come into play to push the guy off, you always reject them. It's like you already have some in mind..." Osamu says as he and Atsumu get off the bed.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I say as my cheeks turn slightly pink.
"Wait...THERE IS A GUY ISN'T THERE?!" Atsumu says as he becomes wide awake. "WHO?!!!"
"Not telling ya! Maybe find out when I get with him," I say, leaving their room. Before I did, I stuck my tongue out of them and left. I went into the bathroom to take a quick shower. Afterward, I put on the uniform I wore for the past two years...it is going to be the last year I wear it.
After I showered, I went downstairs to make breakfast and lunch. I kept it simple and made instant ramen for lunch and eggs for breakfast. After the twins showered and came downstairs, we ate breakfast together. I finished fast and went into the bathroom to put some light makeup on. I was determined to match with Kita this year! I wore some mascara, blush, highlight, and lipgloss. I never wore liquid makeup stuff like foundation, concealer, bronzer, and all because I wore those only for special occasions, and I liked a little bit of a natural look.
Soon, the twins were done eating, and we headed out the door. The twins were fighting, as usual, about how they might have switched up their shoes.
"You're wearing my shoes! Mine is the cleaner one!" Atsumu yelled at Osamu.
"Nuh uh, these are mine. Besides, you snooze you lose," Osamu says nonchalantly.
"Really? You two can't go one day without fighting? What happened to putting sticky notes on what's yours?" I asked the two as I walked between them.
"Well, you don't do it, so why should we?" Atsumu asks, rolling his eyes. I rolled my eyes and facepalmed.
"Cause I think I know the difference between my shoes and my stuff apart from your guys' stuff," I say.
"Speaking about shoes, you didn't pack your cleats for soccer this year?" Osamu asks me.
"No, coach retired and no one else wants to be our supervisor and coach anymore. Well, apart from that creepy gym teacher but he's restricted from girls' sports," I say as I keep walking with them. "Guess no sports for me this year. I'll visit your games though!"
"Wait, that's perfect! Why don't you just be the manager this year for the boys' volleyball team? We don't have anyone and you know your facts about Volleyball. Besides, it's your last year with us in school anyways!" Atsumu asks eagerly. I thought for a second. I was actually planning on resting this year and focusing on academics more, but then the thought hit me: Kita will be there!
"Anything for my baby brothers," I say proudly. They were first surprised and confused cause I have NEVER said anything like that to them. But they didn't question it because they didn't want me to change my mind anyway. This was perfect! My perfect way of getting Kita! We got to the bus stop, and I met my friend there.
"So, ready you gonna make a move this year, or just be delusional?" My friend, Keesha, asked me. I rolled my eyes at her comment.
"I'm actually going to make a move because I'm going to be this year's boys' volleyball team's manager," I told her proudly.
"I mean that's a start. He's captain this year anyway. Oooo, that already sounds cute. The captain and the manager," Keesha says. I loved it when she was adding to my fantasies. "Maybe get with him before prom. No promise I'll hang out with you in prom. I have a boyfriend!
"Yeah, whatever! You'll see. I'll have a man kissing me and clinging on to me," I say, giggling.
"Neh-chan! Come here, Kita-san wants to speak to you!" I heard Osamu call. My cheeks flushed, and my friend let out a small squeal as I turned around and saw Kita, who was now at the bus stop as well.
