Ch. 8: Battle Class

Once the teacher finally finished listing each of his students names, he began speaking again.

"Alright class, I wanna make something clear. This class is gonna require the biggest amount of skill you can possibly deliver. All the skills you get from your other classes, they're gonna be very useful in this class. Believe me.", said Machamp.

"Oh Arceas, this class sounds like it's gonna be hard.", said Sylveon.

"It's gonna be worse because of the fact Golisopod's whole gang is here.", said Jolteon.

"Don't worry Sylveon. If he's chosen to fight you, just try using that aura power of yours to stop the fight. It might lower his confidence, and ruin his reputation", said Umbreon.

"Thanks Umbre! But what if it doesn't work?", Sylveon asked.

"If he tries to flirt with you in the middle of the fight, he'll still get pretty humiliated.", said Umbreon.

"What do you think would happen then?", Sylveon asked.

"He'll become so unmotivated to keep bullying people.", said Umbreon.

"Guess I should hope to fight him. I'll consider it as a form of revenge for what he did yesterday.", said Sylveon.

"Yeah.", Umbreon replied.

Machamp started to go over some basics rules when in Pokémon battles. As he did this, Umbreon looked over at Golisopod, who didn't seem to acknowledge him. That is, until Tropius looked over at him. He then tapped Golisopod's shoulder, causing him to look over, though before he did, Umbreon looked back at the teacher.

"Alright, now let's get to some battles. I don't feel like boring y'all anymore.", said Machamp.

"Wait, what? We're fighting on the first day?", Jolteon exclaimed.

"Apparently.", Umbreon replied.

"Now, I've got this wheel here of all you guys. Whoever ever it lands on will determine if you're fighting as well as who you are fighting against.", said Machamp.

"We can't even pick who we fight against?!", said Sylveon.

"Why?", Glaceon asked.

"Well, if we could fight against each other, we could at least make sure we don't severally hurt each other.", said Sylveon.

"That's a good point. But that also means if one of us gets paired with one of the bullies, we're screwed!", said Umbreon.

"Guys, look! He's spinning the wheel!", said Flareon as Machamp spun the wheel.

The wheel started to slow down, until it stopped. After a split second, a name buzzed on the digital sign above the wheel.

Drapion

"Uh oh!", said Flareon.

"Oh Arceas, please don't be one of us!", said Jolteon.

"Why? Is he as bad as Golisopod?!", Leafeon asked.

"Yup!", said Vaporeon.

The wheel spun again, until finally landing on another name.

Monferno

The Eeveelutions all sighed out of relief.

Drapion and Monferno walked over to the sides of the battlefield when they were directed to by Machamp.

"Yeah! Go Drapion! Show him no mercy!", Golisopod yelled.

"Yeah! Beat him up!", said Druddigon.

"Alright, Drapion vs Monferno! Are you two ready?", Machamp yelled, with both of them nodding their heads.
