Ch. 8: Battle Class

"Aw, hell yeah! Drapion's Golden form!", said Golisopod.

"WHAT IN THE SWEET NAME OF ARCEUS??!!!", Glaceon screamed.

"What did he just- did....did he just....", Vaporeon stuttered.

"What just happened to him?!", Leafeon exclaimed.

"The man just turned gold!", said Flareon.

"What is he? Frieza?! Drapion has a golden form?! Does that make him stronger or something?", said Jolteon.

"I think that can answer your question, Jolteon.", said Umbreon.

Drapion hurled towards Monferno before he could react and hit him with a super strong night slash, sending Monferno flying backwards. Before he even touched the ground, Drapion charged towards him and grabbed him with his claw. Purple light emitted from the claws as Monferno moaned in pain.

"What the- what's happening?!", Sylveon asked.

"It's Drapion's ability. His claws are poisoning him.", said Umbreon.

"Oh no! That poor Monferno!", said Sylveon.

Drapion let Monferno go as he collapsed on the floor.

"Monferno is unable to battle! Drapion wins!", said Machamp. "I'm actually quite impressed! I've never seen a Drapion that can do that before!".

Drapion then closed his eyes and he returned back to his base form.

"Is this real life?!", Jolteon asked.

"I'm afraid so.", Umbreon replied.

"Remember what I said earlier? Yeah, scratch that. We're screwed.", said Flareon.

"I hate to say this, but I unfortunately agree.", said Glaceon.

"Now I'm hoping we don't fight today.", said Leafeon.

"I didn't even know he could do that!", said Vaporeon.

Just then, Sylveon got up from her seat and walked over to the teacher as he carried Monferno out the room.

"Don't worry Sylveon, Monferno's going to be just fine.", said Machamp.

"I know. Can you just stand still for a minute?", said Sylveon as she reached out her ribbons towards Monferno.

She wrapped them around his arms and forehead, causing Monferno to open his eyes.

"Oh....thank you Sylveon.....thank you.....that makes me feel a bit better.", said Monferno.

"Alright, come on Monferno. We going to the nurse's office.", said Machamp before walking out.

Sylveon walked back over to the Eeveelutions.

"Is everything ok, Sylveon?", said Umbreon.

"Yeah, I'm fine.", said Sylveon.

"That was awful. How could Drapion even pull off something like that?", said Flareon.

"Not sure. I'm not even sure something like that is possible. I've never read about anything remotely similar to that happening in battle before, aside from Mega Evolutions, Gigantamax, Dynamax, and Z-Moves. Nothing like a......Golden form!", said Espeon.

"Hmm, something about that gives me a theory. I need to find out more. Wait here, guys.", said Vaporeon before morphing into water and rushing over to where the bullies are sitting.

"What did he just do?", Leafeon asked.

"His special ability. Morphing into water. He can control his molecules and liquify his body or something.", said Jolteon.
