"God, this headache," he muttered.

As his vision cleared, he took in his surroundings. The expensive VVIP suite. The dim lighting. The faint scent of jasmine lingering in the air.

And then…

His shirt. His jacket. His watch. All neatly placed beside him.

He wasn’t alone last night.

Memories of deep brown eyes, breathless laughter, and soft moans rushed back like a tidal wave. His body tensed.

"Where is she?" he murmured, scanning the room.

His jaw clenched when he realized she was gone.

His gaze darkened as he threw the blanket off, quickly pulling on his clothes. He grabbed his phone and immediately dialed a number.

"Aiden," he barked the moment the call connected.

"Y-Yes, sir!"

"Come to my room. Now."

Within minutes, Aiden rushed into the room, slightly out of breath. "Sir?"

Rudraksh stood by the window, his back rigid, his fists clenched. "Where is she?"

Aiden blinked. "Who…?"

"The girl. The one I booked this room for." His voice was dangerously low.

Aiden hesitated. "Sir, you were alone when I arrived."

Rudraksh exhaled sharply, running a hand through his hair.

"No. She was here." His fists clenched tighter. "I need you to find her. Now."

Aiden swallowed. He had never seen his boss like this before.

"But sir, do you know anything about her"

"Then find out," Rudraksh snapped. His chest tightened with an unfamiliar frustration. She left. Just like that? Without a word? Without even facing me?

His jaw ticked. He wasn’t used to people walking away from him. How dare she?

"I want her in front of me as soon as possible," he ordered, storming past Aiden.

Aiden could only stare at his retreating figure, utterly bewildered.

As Rudraksh stepped out of the club, he inhaled deeply.

The scent of jasmine still lingered on his shirt.

He closed his eyes, but the image of her haunted him—the way her lips trembled, the way she looked at him as if he was the only thing in the world.

When he opened his eyes again, they burned with a quiet intensity.

She thought she could escape him.

She was wrong.

He would find her.

She couldn’t just walk away after spending a night with Rudraksh Singh Oberoi.
