Lillian was sitting on a bench, outside MeriTech smirking as Five approached with a man. The building behind her was on fire, thanks to Hazel and Cha-Cha

"come to see the show?" She smirked, seeing Five confused as he hadn't notice to building unlike the man behind him.

Five raised an eyebrow at her comment before noticing the building, his eyes widening slightly "What the hell" he muttered in annoyance, turning to look at her.

She simply shrugged as he let go of the man and run towards the building "oh I wouldn't do that if I were you" she muttered but he didn't hear her. The building exploded making him fly backwards, into the floor.

He groaned slightly as he tried to steady himself. He sat up, looking at the building that was now on fire
"Damn it" He muttered, his eyes still focused on the burning building.

"Shame isn't it" she taunted him walking next to him looking down at him as he was still on the ground. He let out a scoff, still looking up at the building

"You really are a pain in the ass, you know that?" Five said as he turned his head to glare at her. "Too sad you can't change the timeline now huh" she said, looking at the building burning.

She ignored the look five gave her, not expecting her to catch on this quickly. He slowly got up again, a slightly surprised look on his face.

"How'd you know?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at her. "I have my ways. You seriously didn't expect me to never figure it out huh?"  She smirked turning to look at him

Five let out a scoff again, rolling his eyes, trying to look unaffected by her smirk "Guess I was wrong to assume you wouldn't notice" he muttered, his eyes still fixed on her

"Come back to the commission number five. You can't change what's about to happen" He raised an eyebrow at her words, a look of annoyance on his face "Oh really? How can you be so sure?" Five asked, crossing his arms over his chest stubbornly.

"Don't be stubborn" She said dryly "The apocalypse is bound to happen Hargreeves" After what she learned she made her own research, learning more about the apocalypse he jumped on when he was a child

He let out a scoff again, clearly still defiant in his stance "Just because the apocalypse is supposed to happen doesn't mean I can't try to stop it" He argued, refusing to give up on his goal

"You have something of mine. And I would like it back now" She said. He knew he had taken her gun. She had gone back to the store to try and find it but nothing.

The boy chuckled slightly, a mocking smirk appearing on his face, realising what she was talking about. "And why would I give it back to you?" he teased, still keeping it hidden inside his jacket

"Cause it's rude to take things that aren't yours" Lillian said rolling her eyes. He let out a scoff again, clearly enjoying teasing her "Since when do I care about being rude?" He shot back, his smirk widening

"New years revolution?" she shrugged . He chuckled slightly, shaking his head at her words "Yeah, I don't think that's how resolutions work" Five said sarcastically.

"Shame" She muttered unbothered. "Yeah, shame" He repeated sarcastically "Look, I'm not giving you your gun back" he said bluntly

"That's fine" Lillian sighed as she shrugged looking at the building again. There was something peaceful about the fire.

He raised an eyebrow at her answer, surprised that she didn't even seem to mind "That's it? No argument or anything?" He asked, slightly suspicious. He knew her too well to know she didn't just give up.
