I'll Save You

3rd person pov:

As keigo closes his eyes. Endeavor bursts the door down. Enji looks in horror as a feather dripping with blood is removed from without the former hero.

Enraged, enji sends a burst and incinerates it.

Shig:"This quirk is weak against him, unless."

More feathers come with blue flames.

Enji:"That's my son's quirk."

Enji's fire flairs blue and fires off and blows the roof off the place.

Meanwhile, fatgum frees keigo and uses his fat to hide Keigo's body. Then he starts to retreat.

As he runs away. A black feather comes at him. So he dodges it. Only to see the wall that it hit begin to decay.

Fatg:"Watch out! Those things spread decay!"

Enji chuckles and punches his fists together to pump himself up.

Enji:"Destroy them all. Got it."

Shig:"Do you think you can defeat me? Touya thought so, and look what happened."

Enji:"Grrsh."

Fatg:"Keep it cool! He's just baiting you!"

Enji:"i know that."

As Shigaraki swoops down and grabs enji.

Shig:"I win, number one loser."

Enji grabs tomura and begins to power up.

Enji:"I didn't come here alone."

In the distance is aizawa looking at the villain.

Enji:"Now who's the failure?"

As endeavour discharges an attack at point blank. Afo is fighting the number one hero in the states. Giving them time to rescue hawks, and gain intel.

Afo:"Do you think you can actually win? You're just a all might copycat."

Star:"I just need to keep you busy. While they kill your new body off."

*KABOOOOOOOOM!!!*

Star smirks and retreats. While afo looks in horror. As all of his plans fall apart. So as he retreats. Star puts a tracker on him with the help of her quirk and class 1a.

Meanwhile, Shigaraki turns to ash, and enji collapses.

Two weeks have now passed, and keigo begins to wake up. His voice still needs time, but most of his injuries are gone.

Hospital lights shine above. So he squints his eyes and looks to his side. That's when he sees a nurse run out.

Kei:"Where am i?"

Enji:"Safe. You're in the hospital."

Kei:"Wwhere is h-*caugh caugh caugh.* e?"

Enji:"That isn't important. What matters now is your health. Now rest up. You've been through hell. Time to start climbing out."

Enji sets a vial on the bed.

Enji:"Just in case you wanna return to hero work. I understand if you don't. Just giving the option."

After enji leaves. Keigo sees water dripping on the bed. Only to realize that he's crying. So he clutches the vial and let's his heart ache. He the injects it and he feels the sensation of wings returning.

Kei:"I'll fly to save people just like you were."

Keigo remembers Touya's words.

^"You still save others. Even when you Don't realize it. Thank you for saving me."^

After a month of physical therapy and recovery. Keigo is about to go back to work. Only to make a quick stop.

Keigo floats down with flowers and a bento of soba. He then lights an incent and places offerings by a grave.

Kei:"I wish things had been different. That we could've been together, gotten married, and told your family to guck off by moving out of country. As a kid. I imagined us as a heroic team. You, the shooting star to my world..... it's too dark and cold without you here."

As he kneels down and lowers his head to the grave. Footsteps come from behind it, and a hand bonks his head playfully before ruffling his hair.

"The star can't shine without his feul."

Hawks looks up. As he does. There are no scars, skin healthy and clean. A gentle smile shines with cyan eyes and white hair.

Kei:"Is it really you?"

Touya gets on one knee with the ring.

Tou:"No more breaking promises."

Keigo wipes his face and tackles touya. Nuzzling up to his chest. Knowing that he's in safe hands.

Touya thinks back to the moment he was decaying. Only to see star and stripes use her quirk.

Star:"Stop decaying. Regenerate touya todoroki."

Touy:"Why save me?"

Star:"You did something truly heroic. Meaning you can change for the better. Setting aside your own revenge Fantasy to save somebody you love. Stay on this path, and I promise. You'll have what you never thought possible."

Touya holds Hawks in his arms and looks up at the sky.

Tou:^Thank you both for the second change. This time, I'll be a different kind of hero. Now that I'm quirkless. I can abandon the hate and move on.^

Star's jets fly overhead, and she sneezes.

"Is someone talking about you?~"

"Maybe it's you sagt."

Star:"Enough men. Time to finish off our enemy."

"RIGHT!"

As the jets fly to form a heart. Keigo kisses touya. Both are wearing engagement rings. Taking the future into a better direction.
